Penumbra. I pretty much shit my pants that whole entire week.
^^ This
The hotel level in Hitman: Contracts. Where you could picklock your way to the haunted corridor where a ghost would appear in front of you. There were also a mirror which you could see a ghost in, and when you turned around it was gone. Shit almost gave me a heart attack. And the Heavy Rain DLC; The Taxidermist, which was really suspenseful and had my adrenaline rushing. Dead Space was also really scary during certain levels, especially during the level with all the ritual-scientology-bullshit with candles and alien writings on the walls and plastic bags over the dead guys' heads.
Don't forget the singing in Dead Space
Penumbra: Black Plague When that crazed scientist asked me to pass him the saw through that drawer in the wall [sp]and a moment later he would bash through the door like a freaky-ass zombie mutant and chase me through dark corridors[/sp]
Resident Evil 4, Regenerator, i almost shitted my pants when i saw them.
I was a bit worried by them, but then I ran into Iron Maidens. The ones with spikes. Pants were shat.
darkfall so scary finding out that the game was shit
Vampire: The Masquerade, that fucking mnasion.
Oh that too. I think I remember shitting myself in the kitchens, but I don't remember why.
Thread needs more... Pretty much the whole game, mostly due to the sfx. But I remember getting really freaked out whenever I was fighting the Howlers, especially in the way they always rush you in packs and try to ambush you.
When I was playing counter strike and there was a furry spray I am still haunted
When I was 13 and playing Doom 3. I was in a dark room when I turned on my light and a fucking zombie came out of fucking nowhere. The rest of the game was shit though. More relevant, Dead Space. It's worse when it goes past fear and just in to a weird state of mind rape, like you feel like you have to keep going but you can't because you can't take the shock of more shit going down.
Penumbra. I pretty much shit my pants that whole entire week.
oh god the ending to the first one I paused the game and almost quit seriously :saddowns: [editline]08:45PM[/editline]
When you [sp]turn on the light[/sp] in the room full of writing on the walls in Penumbra: Overture.
oh shit that part too ;-; I shat it so bad, the writing was everywhere
Don't forget the scene in the school. Regarding lockers. And what's inside them. And how they react if you take a picture OH GOD I'M SEEING IT IN MY HEAD NOW JESUS CHRIST :byodood:
This, oh god this ._. Also the mannequins in Condemned 1+2, seriously I felt shit damn near trickle down my leg every time they got closer.
exploring late in the evening on STALKER SoC when i was in the middle of nowhere, turned to night and a large thunderstorm started and i only had a makarov and a shitty ww2 rifle. i ran to shelter as fast as i could and hid in a small room with a camp fire, and waited the whole night shitting myself incase bloodsuckers attacked or there was a blowout. i was so immersed i thought i was actually going to die.
Eye Of The Beholder Creepy game when I was about 7,being underground with pigs trying to kill you, they looked scary as hell back then, but now I laugh at their demise.
When Mario died.
When a thug dressed up as a mannequin in the department store followed me as soon as i turned my back to him, and started to attack me. didn't expect it
In Vampire: The Masquerade, I disliked creating new characters for the sole fact I would have to go through the hotel eventually.
When those zombie dogs burst through the windows in Resident Evil I proper jumped. This despite the fact my friend had just told me 'you'll like this bit'. LoL
I don't like being scared so i don't play horror games. Still i got scared when i saw a ghost in Oblivion for the first time though :ohdear:
Running straight into a tank in expert mode on l4d2. No music playing or anything. I just turned around the corner and he was right there staring at me.
All scary games scare the crap out of me. I attempted to play a Resident Evil game once and couldn't even make it through the opening sequence where you have to fight some zombies and all you have is a knife.
The chao from SA2 the day it was released for dreamcast :tinfoil:
The haunted mansion from Time Splitters 1. It was the first "horror" level I ever played. As I was not familiar with the concept of zombies, having only headshots count freaked me out.
HL2: First time a headcrab jumped me. I mean, I was used to simple metrocops or whatever, but I didn't expect a random freaking crab jumping at my screen. Flew back in my chair. Now in GMod, I burn them.

My mates an I were seeing if any of us could run all the way through a level alone I saw and him we stared at each other for what seemed like 15 seconds at which time i ran off and made it to the saferoom.=D but this is my moment When i was young the gun store in one of the resident evil games where you leave and come back and its packed with zombies....bricks were shat

Not the scariest I've had but this happened today: I was playing STALKER SoC earlier and I was in a building looking for a stash. I heard a sound and looked around but then the bar that shows how exposed you are goes back down so I think "Oh must be a boar, probably ran off." I jump down off the box I was standing on and I hear it again, I look around. Then a bloodsucker out of nowhere appears right in front of me and slashes at me. Naturally I replay with "OHMYGODWHATFUCKDIEYOUMOTHERFUCKER!!" And empty an entire magazine into it.
I recall in Condemned randomly swinging my weapon as I turned and it wound up lodging in the face of a crackhead dressed like a mannequin. I shat bricks.
Bloodsuckers in STALKER don't scare me, they just make the enviroment tense. And I haven't really been scared other then jumping, but I hope buying the Penumbra Collector's Pack will change that.
I'm going to have to go with Splatterhouse for the Genesis back in the day. Bricks were shat.
When pyramid head chases you around in the labyrinth in Silent Hill 2
Hell yea.
