Conviction was terrible. Hopefully this one will be better.
Splinter - Internet Connection - Cell: Denied Gameplay Hopefully they won't make the same mistake as last time :ohdear:
It's Ubisoft, their current calling card DRM's the internet shit they're using.
Splinter - Internet Connection - Cell: Denied Gameplay Hopefully they won't make the same mistake as last time :ohdear:
I bought Conviction yesterday, and I can't play it because of this. It says I'm not connected to the internet even though I am. :saddowns: I googled it, and all I could find was that I had to change some proxy settings, but that didn't do shit. Fucking annoying and kind of ironic, because the only way it could work is if I crack it, which is what they were trying to prevent in the first place. If they're going to use DRM they could at least make one that functions properly. :colbert: [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline] If anyone here knows any better solutions, tell me, because I don't want to crack it.
I guess using a crack will be the only way to use the game. Sending a safe one to you by PM.
Well that sucks. :saddowns:
needs co-op
AS long as Michael Ironside is still doing Sam.
Sweet, I love splinter cell :D Hopefully there'll be more for online on this one
I am now buying the original SP games on Steam. Or are they better on xbox?
no man they're annoying as hell on consoles. Don't know why really.
The only Splinter Cell I ever played through completely was Double Agent.
The only Splinter Cell I ever played through completely was Double Agent.
Sorry you had to go through that. :ohdear: I wish that they'd give the series a rest and maybe work on a new Rainbow Six that isn't Vegas.
AS long as Michael Ironside is still doing Sam.
His last name is Ironside? Sounds like a transformer.
Yeah lets get hyped for a game that ends up being a horrible disappointment like the last two Splinter Cells! I'd rather go in with low expectations and be pleasantly surprised.
ok, we're allowed to have different opinions then you :downs:
Honestly whistling was fucking retarded. It made the NPCs look stupid. Also, who could forget this beautiful cutscene?
That cutscene felt strange for some reason. Maybe it's because I've mostly thought of Sam as a non-volatile (and mostly sarcastic) badass.

The Nazi in Saving Private Ryan does a similar thing.
ok, we're allowed to have different opinions then you :downs:
Getting hyped for any game usually ends in disappointment because you go in with unrealistic expectations that no game would be able to live up to [editline]5th December 2010[/editline] Either way I can't lose. If it sucks, I already knew it would while people get pissed off over wasting $60 on it. If it's good, I get a very good surprise.
