hypno-toad - how's the progress on your mod?
Nah, 2277 was when the legion first attacked the dam. It's one of the big story elements in the game, and its why the legion are at the fort in the first place.

That's not going to be done for a looong time. But I may have a looong time to work on it, what with my school situation.
Then I wonder who or what the Spirit is
I swear if it's planned DLC this is like the fourth possible one I've seen today

Possibly that fire man guy?

Spirit of 2277 is a Something Awful forums reference. It only shows up with Wild Wasteland.

goddamn that's a letdown
Spirit is just one of those sentence bolsters I've heard so much about. It could be "remember 2277" or "regret 2277" or "2277 going on 2279"
Its just a reference to the first dam attack. The events that happened in fallout 3 have barely affected new vegas. Most people don't even know the enclave are still around in DC.

Oh, well, I learn something new every day

Man, I wish there were a raider or fiend companion like Jericho, he was so much fun. "I'm going to fuck your shit up, kid!!"
Made having bad karma a jolly-good time.
That being said, I wish there were also a Legion companion. Seems all the companions are sided with the NCR in one way or another. I wanted to machete-chop profligates with a legion buddy :saddowns:
Yay, I exploited the stimpak instant-healing for followers and managed to kill them all.
Oh and AP ammo wasn't necessary, Psycho+Sneaking+Incendiary+AMR=dead legendary in one shot

-GOOD NEWS, PRIVATE! I've come to relieve you.
-Finally!
-The bad news is I've come to relieve you of your life.
-Woo... wait, what? Hey!
And the prank path was even better:

Shall we make a list of possible DLCs?
The deathclaws dt is only 15 or 20, so any really high powered rifle will still penetrate. AP ammo just really does the job right, because it plows through the little armor they do have.

it annoys me, it sounds like they are doing xbox-only, ps3-only bullshit. Just release the damn dlcs for every system.
Obligatory Post-Game DLC with level cap increase and ridiculous new enemies
Yeah, the really OP enemies annoyed me. They needs enemies that can outsmart you, not enemies with an absurd amount of health and attack damage. At mid levels, the only advantage you have over most AI is that you have more stimpaks and you are smarter. They need enemies that use stimpaks frequently, or enemies that sneak attack/ambush you.

Blame Microsoft.

Super Mutant Overlords can begin appearing at level 13. Their attacks take about 1/5 of your health, MINIMUM.
Well, my preferred method of dealing with overlords is simply shooting the gun out of their hand. That basically puts an end to them.
I'd just like enemies that fight like cheap assholes. Maybe bandits that throw dirt in your eyes, or shoot at your legs to cripple you, or retreat from combat to heal and then come back to fight.

Pussy, Legendary Deathclaws almost always take ALL of your health in one blow, even at level 30.
legendary deathcaws are easy to deal with 1 on 1 as long as you have a scoped weapon and good ammunition.
It was always a nightmare running into an overlord wielding a gatling laser or tri-beam laser rifle, that is until you get the chance to shoot the gun from his hand. Being caught off guard by one is dangerous, though.
Fuck.. just as I install all my mods and get my shit ready to start a new serious playthrough.. I find a break in the wire of my 360 controller :( I'm fucked now. I don't really like playing the Fallout games with my mouse.. I like kicking back with the controller and playing it with as little buttons/movement as possible.
Sadface
fUCK the legion holy shit. i just left nelson or w/e after some bitch was like "what the fuck you doing here leave now" so i left then this ceaser faggot decides to try and assasinate me. cmon boone lets go kill some fags.
Has anyone else run into a continuously firing glitch?
I try to holster my weapon, then my character pulls it out a half second later and fire off a shot.
If I equip a melee weapon, I just keep swinging it.
Help.

either your mouse temporarily fucked up or just restart your game
I remember this used to happen in CSS if I'd be shooting and open console or something

I was speaking of Fallout 3.
I was speaking of Fallout 3.
Oh. I'm quite sure there were Leg. Deathclaws there too. If not, then it was some other creature that was very, very fast and fucked your shit up in a blow or two.
Am I the only one who enjoys using the Readius?
Also, is it true that after this last patch the d3d9.dll actually slows down your game?

They weren't.
Lost my Gobi campaign rifle when I [sp]gave ED-E to the followers[/sp], do I need to use the console to get it back?
