Oh god, I can't find Rex :ohdear: I sent him back to Lucky 38, but I can't find him there :frown:
where the actual fuck did you come up with those
Area 51 is A) already expected for a DLC and B) the right direction and about the same distance from the Mojave that The Pitt was from DC
The only person to know who Courier 6 was is the person who almost signed up before him, he is also mentioned and suddenly dropped by Nash.
The fact it includes The Burned Man companion from Van Buren and the DLC saying "Where's New Canaan anyway!?"

The only one that came out of nowhere was the Area 51 one.
New Canaan is mentioned in much the same way as Sierra Madre is in the vanilla game, and the original Courier Six is hinted at in Primm. Both of those ideas have pre-made areas for DLC links to be added (Canyon Wreckage and the area north of the Followers Safehouse respectively).

sometimes he accidentally goes to The King's HQ, so check for him there. he'll end up running to the Lucky 38 once you find him, so follow him until he gets there.

Area 51 is amazingly obvious, we knew we'd get it as soon as we learned the game was gonna be called New Vegas,
Area 51 is amazingly obvious, we knew we'd get it as soon as we learned the game was gonna be called New Vegas,
and as soon as we found out Bethesda would be handling the DLC

He's at The Kings; this happened to me too.
Go there and head to the King's room, he'll probably run past you on the stairwell.
ED-E on the other hand; lose it and it's gone forever - I've tried every console command, but it's possible for ED-E to literally disappear entirely from the game.
Just hope there's no more aliens bullshit like in fallout 3. That shit was annoyi-
AREA 51 DLC
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
If it's the first DLC it will probably be Xbox Exclusive (But probably only Console Exclusive, they'd be stupid not to port it to PS3)
If it's the first DLC it will probably be Xbox Exclusive (But probably only Console Exclusive, they'd be stupid not to port it to PS3)
We already know the first DLC is Dead Money in Sierra Madre, California.
We already know the first DLC is Dead Money in Sierra Madre, California.
Oh, well that's news to me.
So, from what is featured in the game, we can assume there are at least 4 DLCs;

The [INACCESSIBLE] gate at Mojave Outpost, most likely leading to Dead Money.

The Northern Passage. It can be assumed the Area 51 DLC will take place here.

The Canyon Wreckage, leading to the "Great Basin Divide," where it can be assumed the original Courier 6 wishes to exact revenge.

The New Canaan pass (unmarked location), leading to New Canaan in Utah, where something related to The Burned Man and New Canaan from the unreleased Van Buren will be.
I really want New Canaan/Burned Man DLC. So much unused Van Buren content!
Fallout 3 has more plot holes then swiss cheese.
But there was no swiss cheese at all in Fallout 3.
I really want New Canaan/Burned Man DLC. So much unused Van Buren content!
What I really, really want to know is whether or not the Burned Man will be a possible companion, even at least temporarily.
For those who don't know, he would be the first companion in Van Buren, who was covered from head to toe in bandages. At full level, he was the best combat companion, but having him around intimidated everyone, especially members of the legion.
well I've been playing NV for... 3 hours or so already. Totally worth $50
Just been in Vault 11. Disturbing, yet funny.

Am I the only one that think there's a vault full of movie stars and it got fill with so much radiation everyone died due the stupidity of an engineer called Kesha
Am I the only one that think there's a vault full of movie stars and it got fill with so much radiation everyone died due the stupidity of an engineer called Kesha
That was too random, sudden, stupid and senseless to be funny.

legend tells of a vault kept hidden from humanity
a vault full of so much evil, so much danger that should it be released it would mean the last apocalypse
a vault made for a very specific community, the likes of which live in infamy to this day, pure fiends and villains
this vault was called the Nexus

Got fallout 1 & 2, been playing fallout 1 for a while.
Makes me wish some aspects of fallout 3 and new vegas were more like it. Takes place over months and years, and over a much larger area of land. Albeit, the land isn't really displayed. Would be cool if the new fallout games just took place on enormous computer-generated landscapes, with pockets of hand-made towns and cities that you can discover while using the fallout 1-style fast travel system.
A man can dream :saddowns:

My computer can't play Fallout 1 and 2. The graphics are all screwed up. :(
I just want to see like to see the Necropolis in FO3/NV graphics. And visit Vault 13. Intelligent Deathclaws!? Hell yeah!
Hey I was playing earlier on a brand new save.. I skipped the Goodsprings crap after I sold/bought some supplies, completely skipped Primm and ran down to the Gas station first off to kill all of the giant ants for easy XP and then into the gas station for some more.. I got in there and killed the usual 2 Raiders in there and then I turn around to something attacking me and it's a fucking Feral Ghoul??
Is it normal for one of them to completely randomly appear at the very begginging of the game in a place were they aren't common at all?

That would be the second best possible Fallout game in existence. You deserve a :golfclap:
I'm at a love hate point for this game,I love it but just somthing about it makes me quit every few hours in.. But I always come back wanting more. I've only played through one whole time but halfway a bunch.
I cant wait until RTS comes out,Theres a lot of good spots to set up a town.

Feral Ghouls commonly wander about some regions of the Mojave.
Most likely, one of them noticed you and chased you into the gas station.
Also, has anyone else had bizarre player homes occasionally?
My guy went from the Goodsprings Gas Station (very classy) to the Dino Dee-Lite Motel to Vault 3 (for about ten minutes; it's way too big and I had to perma-lock all unessential doors) to the Lucky 38 Casino and Resort Presidential Suite. (Victor seriously gives me the creeps. HIGH-ROLAR SUITE)

This idea sounds too similar to Vault 34. (The radiation part, I mean)

noclip behind the NCR base at primm, theres Alot of them out there.. Found this out at night walking around with rex..We never had a chance.
I'm downloading (slowly) the Van Buren design documents right now. Anyone want me to upload them to a faster host and post them all in one zip file?

seriously why are you a hipster for f1/2
"oh well it's like way better because it's like old and top-down and shit and I just hate people that have played 3 but not 1 or 2 because it's like not nearly as good because it's 3d and shit"
I played 1 2 and tactics when they came out and I think f3 is better, better gameplay, more interesting story (I do miss moral ambiguity like you said though), and hundreds of hours of freeroam, while I finished 1/2/tactics in about three days each
get over it
