I'm still wondering whats going on with the East. Like the commonwealth.
Nuclear Winter?
PaTROLLING THE MOJAVE ALMOST MAKES ME WISH FOR A NUCLEAR WINTEHURRR
Fallout kinda has to be set in America, otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
I say the Southern states

The Gulf Common Wealth
a Fallout Game in China would be kinda nice.
Maybe the radiation made them taller :v:
it's supposed to be like that because [sp]the little girl is Braun[/sp]
also if you beat tranquility lane and then do the operation anchorage DLC you get a fucking awesome conversation choice when talking about the simulator
mind posting it?
God damnit, I want to play Fallout 3 again.
one thing that you really have to admit fallout 3 has and new vegas is fucking-gouge-my-eyes-out missing is how everything fits together and makes sense. Everything looks equally good at the same texture resolution (not actually "good," fuck you gamebryo), they all use the same color palette (which I think is better than NV's but that's a personal opinion) while NV's is all over the place, they don't try to implement anything half-assed except parts of the DLC (ironsights, tactic00l but shittily modeled and low-res weapons, minor parts of the factions system), and the game is pretty well balanced (Energy Weapons guy starts out underpowered but ends up the most powerful, Guns is the most stable, Demolotions and Heavy Weapons is great for taking down big guys but gets expensive as shit fast, and Melee characters better bring shitloads of stimpacks) compared to NV
all personal opinion up there, I think fallout 3 looks and plays better but New Vegas thankfully has more than 3 voice actors and did a fucking awesome job on the story

[sp]Simulation? Oh man, not psychotic little girls again[/sp] or something like that, don't know why I spoiler tagged it
IMO for some reason Oblivion looks better than fallout 3 or new vegas and the new las vegas town could have been bigger.

oblivion looks better as long as you only use first person and never EVER look at anyone's faces

Honestly, I was actually thinking of starting up a volunteer effort to extend the Strip to encompass more streets and add casinos, clubs, and such in the area. The only thing that is really keeping me from doing that is my limited knowledge of the GECK, else I would've already begun.
I hate how small the Strip is. I was hoping there would be some shops that sell really good weapons and armor or something.
Restarting my main character now I've got a sense of the game. Is Wild Wasteland worth keeping for a first run? Is playing HUDless easier than in FO3 because of the iron sights?
I wish there were open cities like morrowind.
They had HUGE cities all over the place and NPC like everywhere but Oblivion,Fallout 3,NV couldn't manage that
Awwh, thank you SO MUCH for volunteering to get me a new computer! You've really made my day lot happer!
no problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's still a load of possibilities in america to be explored, and the Fallout games have always been about how america would survive the war anyway.

I've been reading through the Van Buren design documents, and there's tons of unused content there. If a Fallout game has travel to China, or less likely set in China, it is very far away.
I just wish there was a section like the City in Fallout 3. I loved exploring the ruins of D.C and there was so much to loot and explore. In New Vegas, it's mostly just terrain and large camps.

I prefer turning true ironsights off. Honestly, it's just moving the gun model closer to the face.

Also, ten songs so far for our Jazz Radio. Looking for recommendations. I'd appreciate keeping vocals to a sincere minimum.
[editline]22nd November 2010[/editline]
Nevermind, 11. Remembered to add When the Saints go Marching In.
[editline]22nd November 2010[/editline]
Also, you will be credited in the credits for providing the song. If we ever get to the stage where we add a DJ (like Three Dog or Mr. New Vegas) those persons will be credited through that method.
Fallout 1 is seriously rage-inducing, Bob, the guy who sells human meat can attack me at any time but i can't fight back without getting fucking vaporized by the guards ? what kind of bullshit is this ?
And i can't report him too...

Did you add Take the A Train by Duke Ellington?
Can't have a jazz station without that.
Right, I have that in my Band folder, however we never got the chance to actually play it yet. We've been playing other songs. I'll be sure to add that one straight away.
I can help DJ if this ever takes off
[editline]22nd November 2010[/editline]
I just used dj as a verb wow
I'll keep that in mind cccritical. Just PM me so I remember.
Also, speaking of Duke Ellington, I'm looking for a special arrangement of Peanut Vendor by Duke Ellington, originally written by Perez Prado. If anyone can find this special arrangement, please PM me.
