Fallout Series Thread V4 - Dear Old Friends, Remember Navarro - Games

We should have a section for mods in the OP. I'd like to suggest these. Lets you play after the ending. I like Wild wasteland and small frame. Come on, it's useful, it depends alot on what you want too.

Hello people. I recently started playing Fallout 3, awesome game, and just wanted to ask if there is any significant difference between Fallout 3 and New Vegas, besides the obvious ones (Addition of "traits", new area, more weapons, etc). I've heard its very similar to Fallout 3, and a lot of my friends have said that both games are equally good. Can anyone tell me the differences/improvements of NV? Also, should I get it now, or after I finish FO3? Thanks.

Played through most of New Vegas but now I got a new beefy computer so I'm gonna start a new game with a few mods. I don't know shit about modding Fallout or even less what mods are decent. Thought you guys might be able to give me a good answer or point me in the right direction.

Fallout 3 feels a lot more epic but it's a kind of over the top epic that falls short on pretty much everything else. New Vegas is a lot more better in terms of artistic merit and being a generally good game. A lot of the stuff that people whinged about in Fallout 3 is fixed in New Vegas amazingly without people complaining that the new stuff reruined it.

I don't know if it's worth 50€ if you already own Fallout 3 because in short, it's pretty much the same game. Ironsights and everything makes New vegas awesome.

They were both still great, but I just felt New Vegas wasn't that much of an upgrade from F3.

I prefer New Vegas mainly from that fact that it brings back the feel that Fallout 1 and 2 gave, which I love.

Although I loved the ironsights, they need to fix up the model for several of the energy weapons so the ironsights aren't shitty.

Is there still Galaxy News Radio in New Vegas? God I sure hope so.

The title reminds me of Gabriel Roman from Uncharted...not fallout...I haven't played the first or second one though and I haven't touch the third in awhile.

does anyone have a mod that makes throwing weapons stay in corpses for more than 4 seconds? it really ruins the feel of a stealthy knifethrower.
