Cazadors are everywhere. Deathclaws are limited to two or three areas. I think the answer is obvious.

Im having trouble understanding the Fallout 2 opening. Why would the enclave shoot a bunch of vault dwellers? I figured they recruit those sorts of people since the qualify as "pure human"

After a few encounters, i figured out how to deal with them.

With the big guys, frenzy them, the small ones, cripple the wings. Or cripples all the wings, they become harmless when they are crippled. Plus they net you a lot of XP and have expensive bi-products. If you play a survivalist character, cazador hunting is crucial.

Now Deathclaws are still a bitch to kill. And nightkin are starting to piss me off, too. They take forever to kill and most of them only give you 10 xp for the kill, even though you had to expend like 40 rounds to kill each one. I'm quite surprised at how lame super mutants have become, on my little venture onto Fallout, a super mutant with a flamer is a worrying sight, they will fuck you up, completely and utterly. Now most supermutants are more worthless than humans of the same level. Also, they are scary, they'll dip you in goo if they catch you, sand they look like Frankenstein :ohdear:

But surely it does massively increase the chance of winning without completely relying on the Luck stat? I mean I win almost every hand with 10, barely any "you feel lucky" notifications come up.

I think the "you fell lucky" refers to when you just barely win the hand, or when the odds just barely came out in your favor.
