They'd need to regenerate LODs for DLCs, and if they have multiple DLCs out there in the empty wastes, then they'd just have a bunch of incompatible dlcs. If they do do something with it, it'd have to be one big expansion. From the sounds if it, it looks like they are just adding new world spaces for the DLCs, at least with the dead money one. I'd hope, but I'm not really expecting a proper expansion pack. Take a look at a Oblivion, it had huge expanses of terrain beyond the main playing province, a few mods came out that filled in those areas.
I expect Dead Money to be slightly bigger than The Pitt ,but that's just me. The Pitt wasn't really that big to begin with now that I think about it.

A coupl'a new areas, a few quests with a focus on moral choice, some items and a massive fetch quest. It just so happens, though, that the new areas were highly unique, the moral choice was ambiguous, the items were interesting and the fetch quest was [i]worth it[/i].
I found a glitch inF:NV (which is like saying I shot at a ballon with a minigun and it popped) :saddowns: I was in Vault 34 and I get codes of a terminal but the game won't let me use them.

There's two terminal codes, and likewise there's two flooded areas where you need to swim down to get both the codes.

Loot was worth it though.

Would have been amazing if it had multiple, explorable sections, but oh well. To be honest, I'd prefer if all the DLC bullshit would end, and game companies would just start making true expansion packs. It'd be ncie to go to a new place, and play an entire series of quests, rather than just one short little main quest. Point Lookout was pretty close to what an expansion should be, but still a tad small.
What do you guys think of a Bunker made from a buried mobile home? partly buried anyway.

I just completed the game for NCR, i had a few mods on, but i unactivated them for the end, only free play after main quest and the core files are there. YAY, although that still doesn't solve my other problem.
Last night I finished The Pitt and Vault 92. I wish places like the abandonded vaults weren't infested with enemies, so I could simply investigate the stories. They are so interesting, lots of them could be their own DLC or games if expanded, not just snippets. Also, I just did the Oasis place, I gave the tree the expanding cure. :unsmith:

For Fallout it seems like there is no good reason to get the DLC.

Shivering Isles is referred to as an expansion pack, and it's basically what an expansion pack should be..
