I seriously need to remember the bloody syntax for my unwrapper, since I don't have F3 installed anymore so can't really open it in the Geck.
I could try, I have Fallout 3 installed just so I can convert stuff.
Does anyone else think the OP needs a section with the best mods for New Vegas? Because the Nexus is flooded with tactic00l, Anime, porn and other immersion breaking mods.

It's not as bad as the oblivion nexus.
At least you can use the "mythical" and "magic" excuses for oblivion. Fallout is a post apocalyptic rpg, none of those mods make any sense whatsoever.

The "Radiation" did it.
By how many caps do Casinos start kicking you out for winning too much?
And is Black Jack the easiest way to make tons of caps? I'm pretty shit at it and I'm too afraid to bet big.

It's different for each casino. The worse ones will have lower limits.
People say slots is the easiest, but I have shit luck so I never win. For blackjack I save before I play a hand. I always bet max. If I lose, I try to earn it back. If I lose even more, I reload the save. It takes a while but it works if you don't have a lot of luck.
Can someone explain Roulette to me? I just won 326 caps on pure luck, I bet random numbers.
How do you actually play and is there a decent strategy to win frequently?
Roulette is the definition of chance. Every space you put a bet on has it's own chance of winning and it is calculated at those odds. Aside from it landing on 0 or 00, it is as fair as possible. Your best chance of coming out best at a Casino in real life is take everything you can spare and put it all on either Red or Black at the Roulette table then walking away. You have a bit less than a 50-50 chance, far better than anything else there.
Just managed to get my friend to lend me the money, am downloading it now, yay.
It seems they've implemented a system that stops you from saving before you bet big on Roulette.
Like, once you bet big and lose and reload the save apparently the dealer 'checks the wheel for a bias and anti-cheating blah blah' and stops you from playing for a minute.
Just save outside the casino or something then?
If you lose, just wait that extra minute, no big deal really.

It's like this for all games, after you reload you have to wait a minute.

Yeah, it does it for every game. It just doesn't let you play any games for a minute so that you can't keep reloading if you lose. There's probably a way to disable it but I haven't bothered looking in the GECK for it.
Thanks a bunch Vassilkin, really helps me out and jogged my memory.
I wish there was an easier way to get access to the console while using a 360 controller. You basically have to unplug the controller to reactivate the keyboard, use the console then reconnect the controller and activate usage on it again.
inb4 'hurr use the keyboard to play'. I wouldn't be using a 360 controller on a pc game unless i explicitly wanted to use the controller over the keyboard, which i do.
I remember there being a way to use the 360 controller to open the console on PC version for fallout 3, Can't exactly remember how though.
Go into the options menu and switch the control scheme over to keyboard and mouse, rather than unplugging the controller?
Vault 34 is deeply confusing. There's two terminal codes, and likewise there's two flooded areas where you need to swim down to get both the codes.
Ohh, there's two of them? the wiki didn't mention that. I'll look again and if you're correct all glory will be directed to you.
This game is awesome.
Question: Does changing texture size decrease FPS? Because i cant see a difference from low to medium.
GMonk needs to add this to McCarran Music Radio - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RelL4BS2lEQ
Is there any mod than makes it so the faction standing doesn't shoot down from Idolized to Neutral, if you wear their "disguise"?

What do I have to do to get the GECK to work with Vegas, just download it and patch 1.5?
I wish someone would make a Colt .45 thats actually decent so it can replace the 10mm, I cant stand it.
What do I have to do to get the GECK to work with Vegas, just download it and patch 1.5?
Vegas has its own GECK. Just download the GECK the files for it and drop it in the Vegas directory.
So basically just download the geck and the update then
Also curse New Vegas for not supporting 1808x1048

What kind of heretic resolution is that

Download this, extract the files in it to your New Vegas directory. Shouldn't have to update at all.
Unlikely. They'd need to regenerate LODs for DLCs, and if they have multiple DLCs out there in the empty wastes, then they'd just have a bunch of incompatible dlcs.
If they do do something with it, it'd have to be one big expansion. From the sounds if it, it looks like they are just adding new world spaces for the DLCs, at least with the dead money one. I'd hope, but I'm not really expecting a proper expansion pack.
Take a look at a Oblivion, it had huge expanses of terrain beyond the main playing province, a few mods came out that filled in those areas.
Nights of the Nine took place in empty places in the mainland.
