I was thinking along the same lines expect taking sneak (for sleuthing) and perception (for spotting clues). Also need a Pre-War hat, and the coat is all-important. Lady-Killer never entered my mind, so thanks for that. Now would he go for Mr. House, NCR or Caesar's Legion?

Why choose a faction if RPing a specific personality? It would seem much likelier to ignore the main quests and just wander the wasteland.

I don't know, there's a lot of quests when following the main questline and as a the role isn't a hermit/traveller it makes sense to not travel much. What else am I going to do in cities? I've also been debating what faction Batman would align himself with. Legion is out of the question and I don't think Batman would trust someone behind a screen. NCR seems like Gotham City in it's effectiveness against crime and not-nice-actions so he may ally himself with them to boost their effectivness or not wish to associate himself with them. That leaves us with the independant option but Batman is not the ruling type...

Also, I came up with a reason for him "being a courier". It was an undercover job to see if people were smuggling things via Mohaje Express, unfortunately the whole "getting shot in the head" thing made him lose contact with the beauro so he's left in NV with an even bigger mystery of why the Platinum Chip was worth killing him over.
