What Nexus pop-ups? I use No-script.
Oh, lord, now you can be a porn star in NV.

Heh, it's even the same porn studio as in Fallout 2, awesome.

Was about to say the same thing
How does my female character look? I think she looks okay.

She looks strange in-game though. I'm guessing that's normal; is there a mod to make it look any better?

Looks like plastic surgery.

It's hard to make decent looking females in Bethesda games. I spend around a century fucking around in the editor and managed to make that. Then I installed some hair mod to see if it would add any non-shit hairstyles (it didn't) and it fucked up the eye color and added lipstick for some reason. Oh well.
Managed to import the appearance to NV but in NV characters look even worse. No idea how Obsidian managed that.

Not my fault, my apologise.
Fallout 2 reference?
Not intentionally, though my subconscious probably was telling me to do that.

Theres some skin option.. a tint or something. My character had that before I figured it out. Unfortunately I was too high level I didnt want to reset...
Damnit, using the 40K weapons, none of my companions produce drained power cells, which means I'm gonna have to cheat a load more in
I think that the back in time mod for the Vaults would need a few new models, like the armory would have to be changed into a pristine version.
Besides the scripting, of course.
Anyone want to recommend any good mods? Just any? I don't feel like sifting through the pages of shit they have. (See: Type3, anime models)

by the way I chose this for the next thread title, I'm already working on the OP content, is there anything you guys want to see?

Some of what I'm using
Community Bugfix - Pretty much essential. Check for updates regularly.
Arenovalis Weapon Retextures - Removes the bland, compressed textures.
Inventory Sorter - Makes the inventory actually manageable.
Armoured Vault 21 Suit - Not the best location, but it's good enough.
Hi-Resolution Interface - Great looking UI; makes the game look a helluva lot nicer over 1024x768.
Better Map Markers - Adds Mormon Fort, NCR Embassy, Atomic Wrangler etc. Makes travel a lot more efficient.
Unique Weapon Mods - Adds weapon mods to most unique weapons.
Better 'That Gun' - Makes the .223 Pistol useful, as opposed to cripplingly underpowered. Also renames it either the '.223 Pistol' or 'C&S 2019 Detective Special', since 'That Gun' is a stupid name...
EDIT:
Suit Fix - Fixes the clothes of the Omertas, Chairman and the Garrett Twins; their clothes were bugged to all use the same design.
More Perks - Adds a tonne of fairly balanced, interesting perks, all with custom Vault Boy icons.
Reload is another good one, adds more weapons, more types of rounds and a new way of crafting your bullets etc.

I. Add the Fallout 2 Restoration Patch and the Hi-Res patch so people won't complain, 'My Falout's got ranbows!'
II. Add some good New Vegas mods.
III. Put lots of in-depth descriptions and stuff.

Linkage.
Restoration Project 2.1.2b - latest & probably final version
II. Put lots of in-depth descriptions and stuff.
Quick mention of each of the player characters would be nice; Vault Dweller, Chosen One, Warrior, Lone Wanderer, Courier, Prisoner etc.
I just bought Doctor Li's glasses from Miguel's Pawnshop. Anyone else have it appear in their game?

He also turned out to have the humble cudgel, so I didn't have to go into the sewers to get it.
Man I wish the 360 version would get patched soon, how hard is it to fix that suit bug? And I'd like my companions to show up on the map too, thanks
Anyone else feel that the enemies are rather unbalanced? I mean on the one hand you've got the Fiends, Powder Gangers, feral ghouls and random critters that are piss-easy, while on the other hand you've got Deathclaws and Cazadors that I really, really struggle with. Maybe I find human opponants so easy because I got both Lady-Killer and Confirmed Batchelor...
Also, for melissophobes like me, Cazadors are way scarier than Deathclaws.
Anyway, finally got a silenced sniper rifle and me, ED-E and Veronica are near-unstoppable. What would be the best clothing/armour for my previously mentioned Detective playthrough? I was thinking the Sheriff's outfit or Ranger Veterans armour...

I suggest adding some good Fallout 3 mods, because people still play that game too.

Oh, yeah. A deathclaw killed me in 2 hits. I was in power armor.
Oh, yeah. A deathclaw killed me in 2 hits. I was in power armor.
Don't Deathclaw's damage ignore DT?
If i hear johnny guitar or big iron one more time...

I'd recommend an expansion of the New Vegas section with some good mods.
Oh, yeah. A deathclaw killed me in 2 hits. I was in power armor.
A bunch of Caesar's Legion guys in the last part of the NCR main quest used fire axes to cut through my power armor like it was butter
Could the next OP setup a Facepunch Fallout Group on steam, the group chat would be nice.

Yes, it does.

Deathclaws pose no threat when:

Kasrkin Squad reporting for duty, Suh!
Me, Sunny, Bella, Misty, Veronica and Cass, though now Misty is replaced by Boone 'cause she ended up bugging out.
I don't mind Big Iron as much as I used to. Beats Johnny Guitar any day
If i hear johnny guitar or big iron one more time...
You don't like Big Iron? That's my favorite damn song in the whole game.
