You don't like Big Iron? That's my favorite damn song in the whole game.
It's that he doesn't like it, but the fact that it is played after every other song over, and over again.
I wouldn't hate Johnny Guitar so much if it wasn't on 50% of the time.
I think it's is actually more effective to fight Deathclaws in your underwear than it is to use armor. All that ends up happening is they thoroughly fuck up the condition of your armor, and if it's medium or heavy it slows down your running speed, not to mention it makes it harder to sneak.
I suggest adding some good Fallout 3 mods, because people still play that game too.
Derp, forgot about that. Thanks.
At least Johnny Guitar is better that It's A Sin TO Tell A Lie. Shit's so quiet I can barely tell it's on.

Scared the shit out of me the first time I heard it, I was in some mine or something
I never get tired of "I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle," it's so fucking catchy and upbeat also Blue Moon is good. I don't like Sinatra much, but he does have a good voice.
Hmm, Sleep or New Vegas, I can't decide. Although I wish they had Elvis songs in the Kings HQ
Hmm, Sleep or New Vegas, I can't decide. Although I wish they had Elvis songs in the Kings HQ
Pfft, i can play hardcore mode in my sleep. So I think I will.
If you were sleep deprived from New Vegas you'd make the right decision.. more new vegas Been working on my Fallout-Style items mod off and on for like a week now. Almost every item is tweaked. All armor has been buffed up in DT and value, guns and ammo are a lot more valuable and do more damage, there's a lot less damage difference between guns that use the same caliber of ammunition. Energy weapons now deal huge volumes of damage, but micro-fusion cells are 12 caps a piece, ECPs are 8 caps a piece, and SEC are 4 caps. Explosives negate 4 to 8 DT and do more Base Damage. Now I'm working on getting chems to have stronger and longer lasting effects (with the exception of jet, because it's supposed to fuck you up really good) The mod is good fun  I still hope that I can edit these damn leveled lists so low level characters can encounter high level humans with good equipment. And maybe make it so Freeside thugs aren't such pussies.
You know what this game needs? A kick ass communism hating gigantic Patriotic robot. That was the best character ever.
No.
I don't care how terribly unfitting it was, when I saw that robot I lost all disrespect I had for Fallout 3 in one patriotic instant.
by the way I chose this for the next thread title, I'm already working on the OP content, is there anything you guys want to see?
Perhaps add the design documents to the Van Buren section?
I found this quite humorous, I'm sure you all will too: http://nexus404.com/Blog/2010/11/05/the-top-six-reasons-fallout-3-is-better-than-fallout-new-vegas-after-playing-both-i-discover-six-reasons-that-fallout-new-vegas-just-cant-surpass-fallout-3-yet/ [editline]30th November 2010[/editline] This is probably a simple question, but if I have items from mods I installed, how would I add more of them to my inventory via console? Jesus christ the comments!
Dammit. I just beat New Vegas. I wish I'd known beforehand that the reward for beating it on hardcore mode is no more than [sp]a lousy fuckin achievement.[/sp] But at least I can now tell everyone that I'm so hardcore, I killed Caesar and Legate Lanius in hardcore mode, with no help from companions, using a riot shotgun and chems out the ass.
The only use chems are to me is to make me more bottle caps.
In Fo3, the only chem I use is Rad away or Stimpaks. I sell everything else.
The only use chems are to me is to make me more bottle caps.
That and for crafting better chems, i never got addiction from a crafted chem so i don't think they can get you addicted, plus the better effects.

Does anyone know how to make your own radio stations?
One of the points basically comes to: "Fallout NV has more replay value, so Fallout 3 is better."
Half of them were complaints about good things in the game!
One of the points basically comes to: "Fallout NV has more replay value, so Fallout 3 is better."
Sounds like he doesn't want to play it more than once. I can understand that, but it's obviously super-opinionated. Yea, I'd like to get a big part of the story and perspective on one playthrough, but it's not going to happen. For me, I only played Oblivion once, but I did like every single god damn thing in it for 190 hours. I might do the same for Fallout3, I'm not sure. I'm playing through as a super good player now, sort of how I'd act now, but I might go again as a evil character. But unlike NV, Fo3 doesn't have factions really, so it's only like 1.5 sides to the story.

[editline]30th November 2010[/editline] This is probably a simple question, but if I have items from mods I installed, how would I add more of them to my inventory via console?
You have to look up the formID for the object in the geck, then find out the load order of your mod (Fallout Mod Manager) and then replace the first two digits with the load order number.
So I played F3 a shitload, and had a blast with it. But I buy New Vegas a few weeks ago, and I just cannot get into it. Any tips on sticking with it? I'm trying to get into The Strip right now.
