Probably late, but the top 3 mods on nexus are not a nude or furry mods, and one isn't technically a mod.

Look on the bright side... At least it isn't a mod!
I think its because there's actually very few settlements, It's mostly just outpost after outpost.
The Strip was a bit of a let down, you go all there way there, get enough caps to go in and...3 working casinos a hotel an embassy and an empty casino.
And there's not much variety in casino games either, blackjack, slots and roulette, could have done with more, like dice games, poker etc.
That's why someone should gather a team and start on Better Cities - The Strip.
It also appears that Mr. House imposed a law that there can only be a maximum of six people on the Strip at one time.
I feel ripped off: the trailers, the gameplay videos, even the intro showed a complete, lively, populated Strip that looked great. When the game came out, the Strip is divided into half a dozen pieces, there's only about three people walking around, and three casinos that you can break so easily the Strip basically is boiled down to only the Lucky 38 Penthouse being worth visiting.
If you take over from Mr. House, there should be an option to open the Lucky 38 back up. Get lots of money, buy all the Dinky the T-Rex toys, scatter them around the Strip, then watch Gamebryo cry.

I accidently rated you agree. Oh well.
Actually the top one is a nude skin.

Gamebryo cries all the time. But this is an excellent idea. Overhauling the strip without breaking any quests would be excellent. Especially if you could turn it into a sort of business running venture.

Probably a stupid question, but how's you get so many people in your party?

Yeah, executed as well as Better Cities for Oblivion, it would turn out magnificently.
We would need a team, with no 'I'm the idea guy and you're the scripter \ modeller \ mapper \ scone-maker.'
I know how to map well, but lights are certainly not my game. They never turn out too well.
Maybe late, but I just realized that shooting a mantis ootheca makes a whole bunch of mantis nymphs come out.
And you can step on 'em

Better Cities for oblivion was the biggest performance hog I have ever seen. You could install a million different graphics mods, even the ENBseries, and they wouldn't affect the framerate half as much as Better Cities did.
Okay, maybe the framerate wasn't exactly stellar, but I enjoyed it.
Besides, it all depends on the user how good it is.
For instance, while it was good to see the Brotherhood of Steel still up and running, I expected their presence to be a lot bigger given how near to their home ground they were. And where was the Enclave? For crying out loud, the Enclave is one state away! How is it NOT interfering? Surely the Enclave didn’t lose sufficient forces in the oil rig disaster to not have a presence left in California!
I think the editor didn't know a thing about the backround history.
The Brotherhood's declining, has been since Fallout 2.
The Enclave went kaplooey three times now. They're dead.

Huh? The Top one is the bounties mod...
Does this guy know how to read?
Even the game itself at the loading screens explains how the NCR and the BoS fought a long and bloody war in the Mojave, the NCR resulting victorious.
I started on the Better New Vegas Strip mod. So far, it's pretty just roaming around and getting the lay of the land. Unfortunately, it's late in my time zone.
I deleted all the barriers, though. The gates will need to be looked at tomorrow because it says it is part of some script.
I looked at the outer areas, and it is practically begging for more expansion. There's a whole lot of unused land around the vanilla Strip that looks ripe for more streets and casinos. Just hope I'm not going in over my head.
Any ideas for casinos, by the way?
I deleted all the barriers, though. The gates will need to be looked at tomorrow because it says it is part of some script.
The script removes NPC's that aren't needed at the moment. Like if you're at the center of the strip, all of the NPC's outside of it are removed temporarily. When you move into a new area (let's say the one with the Lucky 38), all of the NPC's in the previous area are removed, and the ones in the Lucky 38 area are added in. That's why when you move from one part to another, some NPC's seem to restart their cycle (hookers will move back to their position, NPC's will restart their patrolling, etc.) It's so that there aren't an assload of NPC's on the Strip at one time, making it lag even more.
Any ideas for casinos, by the way?
This list might prove useful. It's a list of major casinos on the Las Vegas Strip, plus a few other things.
Personally, though, I think Caesar's Palace would be an interesting place to go, especially if it ties in some way to Caesar's Legion.
I lost all my geck files to a Windows 7 crash, and my pc is running on half a leg. LGV lived because i had it on my laptop.
Lost all my other stuff too hl2 maps, and my game modes.

The bounty mod is the most endorsed within 2 weeks - 21 days.
The nude mod is the top mod of all time going by the number of endorsements.
So did the jazz mod come out yet? I've been out for a while, and missed over 20 pages.
We're still getting more songs.
Pc or Sexbox?
