Everyone will die of STDs eventually.
Here's a vault idea: Gather everyone from all walks of life and put them in a vault. None of them are able to speak the same language and so no one can understand each other. It'll be like tower of Babel.
Here's another one I've seen recently. Put five different vaults near each other, all slated to open at the same time. Each vault has a different resource needed to build a new city. The catch is that each of those five vaults are run differently. One vault is Communist. The second Capitalist. One is Anarchist, The fourth, Maoist. The final is Fascist, and is the security vault, loaded with weapons and security robots. The experiment is seeing how they'll react to each other when the vault doors open up.

Facist vault wins because of their security equipment and steals the other vaults resources. They create the city known as Vault City, and that's why it is full of assholes.
Make two vaults, one has guns, the other ammunition, lols ensue.

That sounds a bit similar to Vault 15, in my opinion.
Anyone in UK who is after Fallout New Vegas , Tesco is selling it at £22 in store and online

Ok, I had a really weird mind trip...
What if you manage to capture a fire gecko, and eventually he starts to accept you as his master, so you start to train him to protect you from mutants and stuff. Eventually he gets pretty powerful due to all to the attentions and protection you offer him. You become more than just a Wastelander and his mutant pet.
You become friends.
Then this asshole called Gary shows up with his fucking water-spitting mutant tortoise and fucks everything up.

Ammunition vault wins
They get one gun, they can shoot everyone
But gun vault gets one magazine, they can only empty that
Not to mention makeshift guns like pipe rifles
new vegas needed a pipe rifle

Reposting it here for relativity. Also, any good mods for New Vegas yet?

Or you could get the PC version for £16.00, there is no reason at all to get the console version.

Weren't there some makeshift guns mods around? I remember seeing at least a homemade laser pistol and a grenade slingshot made of garbage...
What happens when you ignore the brotherhood in side cards?
I don't want to destroy their base, and can't be bothered doing the NCR missions and making the truce.
You get a powerfist up the a[#Censored by order of the Elder#]

New character going well. Got up to on the way to Novac with all possible quests (not including Powder Ganger ones). Something related to the Powder Gangers I found on my first guy, while I was on the way to NCRCF, I saw a PG camp with two dead Crimson Caravan guards dead. The male one was still in his amour but the female one was in the middle of the road and stripped of her armour, the implication is that she was raped. Needless to say, I was now sure that I wanted to kill all the PGs in the NCRCF. Also, good karma is way easier to get in this game than in Fallout 3.

Or just that her armor was REALLY good-looking, and one of the attackers was a tranny?

I remember FOOK 2 for FO3 added a pipe rifle. I assume the same will be done with F:NV.
Also, good karma is way easier to get in this game than in Fallout 3.
Nah, I went a long way and didn't get a whole lot of karma initially.
When it comes to Caesar's Legion and the Fiends, only then does karma shower down like the spring rain.

Which I thought was dumb, considering I wanted an evil asshole to take NV for himself but he came out neutral because of actions against the Legion.
Just bought Fallout New Vegas and it's really awesome.
New avatar aswell.
I also got a hell of alot more bad karma than I usually do in games, mainly from stealing from those damn Powder Gangers and Legion camps.
I also got a heal of alot more bad karma than I usually do in games, mainly from stealing from those damn Powder Gangers and Legion camps.
And that one made no sense at all.
If you learn to read abstract english, what he means to say is
"I also got a hell of alot more bad karma than I usually do in games, mainly from stealing from those damn Powder Gangers and Legion camps. "
Mainly because most other games don't have karma systems.
It seems however, that rather than accrue evil karma by stealing, it's perfectly fine to just repeatedly kill the inhabitants over and over to get their stuff.
The Karma system in Fallout 3/NV Sucks, you get good karma from killing bad guys, but bad karma from simply taking their stuff whether or not they are alive, the bad karma given is also disproportionate, as stealing several things, according to the game system, is as bad as killing an innocent person.
Does anyone have any mods that allow me to immediately start a new character? But at level thirty with all perks along the way, i just want to play RTS properly, but i can't because i have no previous saves.

I know what he said. I'm agreeing with him.
Do you get any negative karma from killing the Van Graffs?
Do you get any negative karma from killing the Van Graffs?
No.
I plan on trying out RTS today, I didn't like it in F3 all too much so I don't think I will now.

Make a new character and advance all the levels with the console ?

It has exactly the same system requirements as FO3, which in turn has the same requirements as Oblivion, a 4 year old game. Honestly, if your computer can't handle that then, well, how's the '90s working out for ya?
I got to the part where [sp]Mr. House asks you to kill the Brotherhood. I immediately went to the console on the left, opened up the chamber, said hello, lost one sniper round, and left.[/sp]
None of the securitrons did anything, ironically.
Dammit, I just built a decent scrap fortress with RTS, but whenever I open a door (the pre-made Defense one made out of scrap metal) the game crashes. I should put the walls a bit farther away from the door, probably.
