Mr. Someguy: As far as I can tell, objects don't 'vanish' if you physically place them. I lived in the Goodsprings Gas Station for quite some time, and I never had anything disappear. If something does, try looking around a bit. Items occasionally will fall through the floor and automatically teleport to the cell's center. Containers are a whole other story: most containers are not 'safe', and items placed in them will disappear after approximately three days. To make containers safe, open the console, click on the container, then type the following: setownership To check if a container has had the 'setownership' cheat used and is safe, type the following: IsOwner
