Does anyone know if Boone will use a Sniper Rifle if I buy one for him. I know they both use the .308, but I wasn't sure if his infinate ammo supply would work on another weapon (even if it is the same type) and I don't want to money on a Sniper only to find out he won't use it.

OK SO I GOT THE GROUNDWORK DONE. The item works, in the sense that it's a pair of Boxing Tape that does slightly increased damage, STUPIDLY increased speed, and explodes limbs (in theory). Next steps: Increase speed (!!), add "You Wa Shock" draw sound, make it explode more limbs. [editline]7th November 2010[/editline] OK, the instrumental "YOU WA SHOCK!" sting now plays on draw at an acceptable volume. Next: Lower AP cost to .0001 so you can ATATATATATATATA in VATS forever. [editline]7th November 2010[/editline] OK SPEED IS GOOD, holy shit. Limbs are exploding as expected. THIS IS SO AWESOME YOU CAN BARELY SEE THE ATTACK ANIM OH GOD Next: Fix the knockdown effect, do some more work with sound. The insanely fast attack speed will make it hard to ATATATATATATA in game, I think.

I use a FRAPS. [editline]8th November 2010[/editline] but I'm looking for a better alternative that doesn't rape my performance.

Record using Fraps in windowed mode - 1280x720 for best performance - quality.

I use Fraps and it doesn't lag video but audio always knocks out of sync. The first half of the video will be fine then the rest is way out and no amount of editing fixes it.

I get 60+ fps with all setting maxed but with 2x AA, but while I get about 20 to 40ish. Hmm, the geck is pretty crashy. Created a nice sized exterior world space. May turn into something quite impressive in a bit of time.. Hard to make much progress, though, what with the crashes :saddowns:

Make your deck all 10s , 9s and 7s , and add a few randoms to get to 30 cards. When you start , discard all non- 10s 9s and 7s , then place a ten in each column. See which column the AI is "playing" , and put the 9 s in the other columns , then the sevens. insta-win every time.

Fraps will drop your framerate an easy 20 FPS, but if you record on the same harddrive, thats when you get merciless lag. You're not going to find recording software that doesnt "lag." get used to it.

Oh my god, it happened again. The General store owner took my Hunter rifle after i stole some caps from him. I fucking paid for it. I killed him and he didn't have it(?) He loves that gun, apparently.
