Just finished New Vegas with Yes Man. Underwhelming ending if I'm honest, the final missions are very bland and boring, but then again most of New Vegas has been bland and boring. Going to trade it in today, get Black Ops for £5. A shame really, great potential not realised.
i'd like to see fallout in canada
it's american, right

That you didn't realize.

Technically yes.
Fallout in New Zeland.
Nothing changes.
How about fallout in a better engine. Something that can use vehicles and where a rock dosent have an invisible wall ten feet infront of it. A man can dream. Actually I think the halo engine could be adapted to an rpg. Maybe thats where bungie will head next (yeah right).
Not halo engine :P
Fallout doesn't need vehicles dammit.

Vertibirds are awesome.
Edit: Now that's a good idea for a mod.
Hell since this update I keep bumping into unkillable creatures, well I can kill them but when I do I get a message saying 'Bark Scorpion is unconscious'. Luckely its only been on low level creatures. God help me If I bump into an unkillable Death Claw...
My automerge! :argh:

A rusty motherfucking jeep with expensive ass fuel, NEED IT!
Instead of vehicles we need 12 year old anime girls with 4 inches of makeup who you can bend over and have animated sex with and then have piggy-backs on them to your destination.

And why the fuck not?

I somehow quoted the wrong post. It's fixed now.
Fallout needs vehicles as much as Valve needs money from "micro" transactions.
Isn't kind of obvious why the NCR has vertibirds but not actual land vehicles?
Every single road is broken and torn to pieces, and the desert is filled with a huge amount of small trees and huge cliffs, not to mention boulders and rocks everywhere. Cars would also attract a lot of attention and would be easy to ambush.

You can't bump into a car without it blowing up, do you really want to be inside one when people are shooting at it?
There was a car in fucking Fallout 2 so why the hell can't there be vehicles now?

Because it's impossible to reinforce stuff.
I never used the car in Fallout 2, I thought it was out of place.
and what are the odds you will find a 200+ year old car that works, or the parts for said car, not very likely, just walk you lazy bastard.

God forbid we have options!
Besides there are a bazillion motorcycles that look like they're in perfect working condition, if they can fix the Hoover Dam after 200 years then they can modify a motorcycle to use a different power source other than gas.
I can also imagine the hilarious bugs cars would bring with them, bump into a rock, get sent 1000ft into the air.

but really, saying I wan't a car in Fallout is like saying I don't want a GTA game with cars.

Would the NCR or the Brotherhood REALLY want to use all of the manpower and resources to restore an unarmored and explosive vehicle?

Who gives a fuck, and why does it have to be only the NCR or the Brotherhood? Other people do exist you know.
It just doesn't makes sense, thanks to Bethesda making all vehicles into mini nukes waiting to explode at the slightest bump.

Thank god for that patch, I removed the d3d9 file, no more NPC lag, and removing it also seemed to get rid most of the music stutter I got.
times are good.

Again, who cares? The Fallout universe is full of things that don't make sense.

I'm pretty sure there are tons of working fission batteries, adapting a car to use those would be a piece of cake.

They have Vertibirds? I haven't seen any.
What about an armored garbage truck.
