What the fuck is going on.
I went to Helios One for my first time, everything was great etc. I took the quest to [sp]restore power to the mainframe [/sp] or whatever it is.
I went outside to [sp]connect those little towers[/sp] but there were NCR Dogs around it! So I had to kill them, which meant that I became an enemy to the NCR.
But what the fuck? I had to kill them in order to continue in the quest. Same thing happened near [sp]the second "tower"[/sp].
Boone told me that if I keep on shooting the NCR he'll leave, even though he was shooting them himself.
Then I went into the [sp]main tower where the mainframe is[/sp] and there was [sp] those security robots[/sp] so I went on and [sp]disabled them on that terminal in the room[/sp]. I [sp]cracked the terminal and clicked disable security systems, the second option[/sp]. Suddenly Boone decided that he will leave because I'm still hurting the NCR. So what the fuck?
Am I missing something? How can I do a mission for the NCR if I have to kill NCR to do it?
Strange, I have done the quest on two characters and neither character lost reputation during this quest for killing the dogs. You could try again or use a stealth boy to activate the terminal.
Did you enable the damned defense?
Can't redo completely the quest because I didn't make a new save... I only have a save after [sp]cracking the terminal[/sp].
Now NCR hates me. Any way to change that? Because this is pure bullshit.
Don't do anything else to them. IIRC, [sp]as soon as you get on the strip, you get a message from the ambassador that if you work for them, they'll forgive you. Dunno if it actually does but it's your best chance.[/sp]
Seriously at this point I'd just use an editor to change reputation, if there is one. (?)

I'll expand the current one , but I'll keep to the same era of music until I've milked the bastard dry. SibilantJoe said he was willing to do some voice acting and the samples he sent me were pretty damn good so I'll hit him up over the weekend, see if I can't jam some voice acting in there.

Do the console commands you want then restart the game. It only disables achievements for the current game session.

Does anyone else love the super mutants in New Vegas? In FO3 they were kinda like high lvl raiders, but here they are actual characters! I found Neil for the first time, and was amazed that I was being spoken to by a super mutant. This sounds pretty sad, but I never thought of them as being friendly or intelligent. And don't go ranting at me about FO and FO2, I know they're intelligent there, but they're not friendly.
ED-E my love is annoying in hardcore mode, I have to wait for days without being able to sleep through it all or I'll dehydrate.
So who can tell me who it would be a good idea to ally with? I'm already allied with the Legion, the Boomers, and the Brotherhood of Steel. Is there anybody else who could help me?
Also, am I the only one who does almost every ending at the same time, up until the point where continuing with one would and another?

Cass is great. I couldn't go with Boone because he is a faggot and wouldn't let me take him if I hate the NCR. Although she is annoying with her speeches every time you crouch.

No, they still back you up if do that, so do the [sp]Enclave Remnants[/sp], except they need to be told explicitly who they're siding with
