Hey Fantastic, what do you do? FUCK man, I do everything. I push buttons, turn dials, read numbers... sometimes I like to make up little stories in my head about what the numbers mean; like one time, I imagined that they were code to get into a vault full of naked ladies. maaan, how COOL would that be! Best character in the game.
One of the few characters on the Nexus that actually looks somewhat okay, but still doesn't fit for a single chance in the game.
What the fuck is that behind her
What the fuck is that behind her
Some kind of mirelurk king I think.
[img_thumb]http://imgur.com/wJOss.jpg[/img_thumb]
Rated agree because I did the exact same thing.
Holy shit I'm being rated late on an image I created :v:
In other news I just downloaded the GECK since I was bored. Going to try to make a cool player house for myself at first just to get my bearings around the thing. I'm predicting catastrophical failure and corrupt files in the next 20 minutes.
What the fuck is that behind her
Either a lakelurk or one of the Khan scarecrows. Anyway, I'm gonna spend today working on that cell I was making in GECK. However, every time I get it in-game, it decides to crash not long after it loads. Anyone help me with it?
Holy shit I'm being rated late on an image I created :v:
Nevermind, I only saw it three times here. [editline]13th November 2010[/editline]
Anyway, I'm gonna spend today working on that cell I was making in GECK. Trying to update to GECK 1.5 and it claims GECK.exe doesn't exist when the file is right above the installer :raise: Derp. Downloaded the Fallout 3 GECK :downs:
"You Sure I Looked Like This Doc?" Best screenshot on the nexus since the gecko in a suit.
I went inside Gomorrah and brought my detonator i got from a quest and started to point and use it in front of the guards. They killed me.
I finished with Joanna and pulled the trigger on the C4 i planted as i walked out the door. So when I enter every time now she explodes over and over. :D
why does the nude mod have 10 times as many endorsements as FOMM
Probably from people who's parents block porn [editline]13th November 2010[/editline]
I'm on the quest, For the Republic Part 2. I need to [sp]"deal" with the Brotherhood of Steel." Now neither I, nor my ridiculously overpowered companions can take down these guys. I'd like to at least be able to get into the base peacefully and find a way to end the problem other than attacking head on. I know one way to get in is with Veronica, but I'm not getting rid of Arcade. Are there any other peaceful ways to get in?[/sp]
Get the pulse gun, takes out a power armor guy in 1-2 hits (or use pulse grenades)
Somebody linked to that T-57C Air Force power armor (or whatever it was called) during the last thread. It seems the file was removed from the nexus. I thought it'd be located at Nellis, but I can't find it. Anyone who enabled that mod know where it is?
If I recall it right, it is in a large crate at Searchlight airfield, next to the control tower.
I'll expand the current one , but I'll keep to the same era of music until I've milked the bastard dry. SibilantJoe said he was willing to do some voice acting and the samples he sent me were pretty damn good so I'll hit him up over the weekend, see if I can't jam some voice acting in there. [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] needs "uranium fever" and "watch world war 3 on pay tv" Do the console commands you want then restart the game. It only disables achievements for the current game session. [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] eww, if you're gonna put in 80s music that doesn't fit with the game's aesthetic, at least have more than 6 songs
I couldn't resist.
Someone needs to make a mod that turns you into a gecko.
Oh god, im downloading this immediatly Now Rex actually looks old and half cyborg instead of just The King Telling us he's old. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37269
Y'know what I would've liked to see from crafting? The ability to use a high repair skill at a work bench to combine leather armor, a whole mess of fire gecko hides and some miscellaneous clutter to create Fire Gecko Armor (possibly with fire resistance) Actually, hang on. Making a mod.
The nexus fucking sucks. I can browse through thousands of nude mods to get to the small mods I want, but I can't even add them to my ignore list, since there isn't one.

How do I [sp]trigger Arcade Gannon's quest to reunite the Enclave? I checked the Wiki and went to all the locations it said to bring him to, but the thing is, some of those places I already completed, like Heilos One, before I got Arcade. Is there any way to trigger his quest without console codes (since I'm on the 360)?[/sp]

What good armor could I get at a low level? Currently I arrived in Freeside. I'm not well-known enough for Gannon to follow me, so that marks out the power armor.
What good armor could I get at a low level? Currently I arrived in Freeside. I'm not well-known enough for Gannon to follow me, so that marks out the power armor.
MK2 combat Armour I think.
What good armor could I get at a low level? Currently I arrived in Freeside. I'm not well-known enough for Gannon to follow me, so that marks out the power armor.
You can find some Reinforced Mk. II armor in a duffle bag somewhere, but until you get jury rigging it's a bitch to repair. If you've got access to Nellis, there's a whole heap of normal combat armor you can swipe, and select vipers/jackals/whatever should have some Leather Armor Reinforced if you can take 'em. [editline];[/editline] Also, somewhere around, I forget exactly where, you can find some dead Silver Rush thugs who have some Van Graff Combat Armor. [editline];[/editline] Some exact locations, the Mk. II is west of Brewer's Beer Bootlegging (Warning: Bees, my god,) The Van Graff armor is at Durable Dunn's Sacked Caravan, and a suit of Reinforced Mk. I can be found if you haven't got Wild Wasteland on the body of the guy carrying the YCS/186 east of Brook's Tumbleweed Ranch
...and select vipers/jackals/whatever should have some Leather Armor Reinforced if you can take 'em.
An alternate to this is to gamble at the Vicki and Vance. If you earn 1,000 and some odd number chips at the casino you get comp'd it by the casino.
Sure you're far enough on into the story?
Well, [sp]I've got the Chip, have been called to the Dam, and am contemplating killing Mr. House. I'm siding with the NCR, by the way, and am Idolized by most everyone, barring the Legion and Powder Gangers.[/sp]
