During the slideshow at the end? Arcade is like my favorite character in the entire game, which is why I wanted to do his quest so badly. But can I recruit him again? I told him to [sp]stay in Freeside, thinking I could go back and have him join me again. Can I recruit him again? Will I ever see him again? If I told him to fight he'd land with the vertibird at the end, right? If I can't recruit him again the first thing I'm doing is finding/making a mod to get him back.[/sp]

so i decided to see what happens if i get benny to survive the fort turns out he's coded to die there and if he doesn't get killed he'll just run around looking for someone to kill him so i decided to have some fun [img]http://i56.tinypic.com/xqe60w.jpg[/img]

Finally beat the game. The second half of my playthrough was hindered by some major glitches. At first it would randomly freeze. Like maybe every 5 minutes the game would just freeze for 20-40 seconds. During this time nothing would happen in the game, so it wouldn't get me killed or anything like that, it was just an annoyance. But lately, after a patch I'm guessing, the freezing happens less often. But now whenever I get near 3 or more enemies at a time my game would slow down, and might freeze for a few seconds. But the worst part is, my keys would kind of get stuck. When I let go of "W," for example, I would keep walking forward. It has nothing to do with my keyboard. This would get me killed a lot. If I pressed another button or two while the key was "stuck," my computer would start beeping like it does when you hold down three keys at a time. So I'm walking into a crowd of enemies I have no control of my movements. In a desperate attempt to save myself I press my S key, nothing happens. I try pressing V to target one of them, "Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!" goes on for 30 seconds while I am violently beaten by my attackers. I had to set my game to Very Easy and it still took me a ton of tries to beat the game.

I thought one of these threads at one point hosted a non-pirated link to fallout 1. I dont know where to find it anymore. Just a normal download, no strings attached.

If you had a credit card you could just get them from Steam, or Gog.com, but since you don't you should get the Fallout Trilogy Pack, you can probably get it at Wallmart.

Godamnit. You'd think after a game hits the 10-12 year mark it'd just become freeware. You cant really buy it anywhere independently anyways. I know its a great game, but seriously, a $5 game that is 12 years old is just not worth the hassle of purchasing and downloading online.

Tell that to Blizzard, or ID Software.

Gta 1 & 2 are free. I`m fairly sure doom is free. Good to see some companies just make their really old games freeware to save people the trouble of having to buy it online.

the trilogy was put on shelves in 2006. its going to be pretty hard to find it in stores. Ive never caught sight of it, either.

It's still being manufactured, I see those things all the time in stores around here.

I picked up the trilogy just a month or two ago at my local GAME. You'll have to get some fan patches, I think.
