This is true, In Fallout 3 you could walk everywhere, to the edges of the map, now its like LOLMOUNTAINS AND INVISIBLE WALLS.

I figured it'd be nice to have an account there (and be an active member of it's community) in case I DO get the games for the PC, kinda like how I eventually got Oblivion for the PC despite having it for the 360.

What I really don't like about the facegen is that you finally get a face that doesn't look full of derp and it looks way too similar to a bunch of NPC faces.

Am I the only one content with the default in-game hair? :p

I don't like House, he may be a scientist and one of the smartest guys in New Vegas but he's a megalomaniac, narcissist and autocrat. No way I would give him power over everything.

How can i activate the quest to get Raul's desperado armor?

For his mission, straight from the wiki. The player must: * Speak with Ranger Andy in Novac * Let Raul speak to the player about Ranger Andy. * Travel to Camp McCarran or Camp Forlorn Hope and speak to Corporal Sterling. * Let Raul speak to the player about Sterling. * Travel to Nellis Air Force Base or Black Mountain and speak to Loyal. * Let Raul speak to the player about Loyal. I don't think it's the one that gives him any armour though, not sure about that one.
