That's true, but in relevancy to the story alone they are important.
There is no such thing as to much spoiler tagging(Better safe then sorry.) And I don't see why there is arguing over this in a Fallout thread, it if was much to little, I could understand, but really?
Anyone else really, really enjoy all of the old music in Fallout 3 and New Vegas? I love these jazzy tunes.
I couldn't wait any longer. I went on with the main quest, I just had to see how it ends. And I am amazingly surprised. I think I got one of the most mutually beneficial endings for everyone. I was upset when [sp]the NCR kicked the Followers out, but was glad when it said that the Great Khans and the Followers teamed up in some other part of the world to create a great tribe. All is well that ends well! The battle at the Dam was amazing, though. I had the Brotherhood, NCR, Enclave Remnants, and the Boomers all help to absolutely rape the Legion. Me, Boone, and ED-E cleaned house with the rest of the people. It was a sight to behold.[/sp] I don't think I would change a thing.
In relation to big spoiler post: [sp]I don't like how arcade supposedly gets chased down by the NCR for being an enclave affiliate, not sure (game crashed during ending cutscene), but I assume the rest of the enclave fogies get tracked down too, even though they helped the ncr. You'd think since your character ha so much sway with the NCR by the end, you could just say "yeah those enclave bros are pretty cool" but no, you cant[/sp] it made me :saddowns:
God I just want to kill the NCR but at the same time not anger Boone. God fucking DAMMIT!
Shame how the NCR are so angry. Can't they annex some of those organisations? It'd be awesome and the NCR gets to have their land.
Is anyone else's steam achievements not updating? I have multiple quests done and passed level 10 without unlocking the achievements for them.
Is anyone else's steam achievements not updating? I have multiple quests done and passed level 10 without unlocking the achievements for them.
You cheated start over.
Nah, just restart the game. It only disables it for that session.
I would have sided with mr house [sp]if he didnt insist you kill the brotherhood.[/sp]
anyone have this on ps3? how are the technical issues/glitches/bugs for it? if theres alot of bitching for the pc version it must be like 2 times worse for ps3.
Don't bother, the game is way better on the PC anyways. I bought fallout 3 on the xbox, played the crap out of it, then got it for the PC, and it isn't even funny how much better the PC version is. Not just for the mods, but the game simply plays way better on the PC. THEN there's the mods :v:
anyone have this on ps3? how are the technical issues/glitches/bugs for it? if theres alot of bitching for the pc version it must be like 2 times worse for ps3.
I have it for PS3 it plays fine
I have it for PS3 it plays fine
Are you kidding man? I must have opened the console like hundreds of times to resolve gamebreaking bugs. I don't know how you put up with them.
Are you kidding man? I must have opened the console like hundreds of times to resolve gamebreaking bugs. I don't know how you put up with them.
The only gamebreaking bugs I get are getting stuck on rocks or the game crashing
Are you kidding man? I must have opened the console like hundreds of times to resolve gamebreaking bugs. I don't know how you put up with them.
the only serious bug I've ever encountered was one where Melissa (the girl at the Great Khan encampment at Quarry Junction) disappeared, breaking the "Oh My Papa" quest. I ended up just massacring the rest of the Khans to complete that for the NCR. oh, and also a bug with Raul's quest. either way both those bugs could be worked around if you plan your playthroughs ahead. specifically, don't do "Don't Make a Beggar of Me" for Melissa until you get "Oh My Papa", and don't talk to Ranger Andy until you have Raul as a companion. no need for console there.
The only vanilla bug I found was the missing laser pistol quest.

It just said they "quickly disappeared, leaving their legend...something something something about why the Enclave were originally feared. And Arcade became a teacher for the NCR.[/sp] [editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
The only vanilla bug I found was the missing laser pistol quest.
Did you check Scorpion Gulch, or are you just saying that because you can't find it?
[sp]You have to make him stay in Freeside for the Battle so he isn't identified. Then he can live in the NCR as a Followers teacher.[/sp]
[sp]You have to make him stay in Freeside for the Battle so he isn't identified. Then he can live in the NCR as a Followers teacher.[/sp]
Thats what I did. So, if he is [sp]at the battle, he gets identified, tracked down, and forced out of NCR territory? Like I said before, it seems my ending was beneficial to everyone. But it never changes, because war? War...never changes.[/sp]
Ending spoiler: [sp]The only group that ends up going after the Remnants of the enclave (not including Arcade) is Caesar's Legion if you killed Caesar, and they get their asses kicked repeatedly by them and loose hundered of Legionaries and can't take em down.[/sp]
[sp]That is because you don't fuck with the Enclave[/sp]
[sp]That is because you don't fuck with the Enclave[/sp]
[sp] Which is something that Caesar realized, and if you keep him alive while still using the enclave, then he won't pursue them knowing full well that it would be a futile endeavor, but if you botch his surgery or kill him in some other way, then his successors (likely including Legate Lanius) try to go after them fruitlessly. [/sp]
Yeah but he died because of radiation what a pussy

Guys, everyone knows that you are carrying a Vault 11 jumpsuit. My stupid theory is; [sp]There were 4 survivors left in Vault 11, and they were to kill eachother. But the last person decided to be smart and not kill himself, and left the vault. Maybe the Courier is that dude?[/sp] [sp]Oh and, in the first intro scene, when you are about to get buried by Benny and his mercs, you have a cowboy hat, cowboy clothes on. But after you wake up in doctors house, he only gives you a jumpsuit and a few others. Me confus [/sp]
because your clothes were probably dirty and covered in blood?

Vault 21 was the hotel in New Vegas, and Doc Mitchell [sp]comes from there.[/sp] It would make sense for him to carry a spare jumpsuit.
