Was the first time you tried the the DK just after WotLK came out?
I'd swap my first 80 shaman for a druid.
Would swapp my 80 Pala for 80 Shaman.

no i only started in december january then got my dk around febuary
My first character was a warroir, I dident know anything about the game at the time. I ended up having terrible armour at level 45, mage armour and cloth like that, If i can change one thing il be to do a big redo on that character because he's impossible to level now.
also I have no idea how I got to level 45 as a warrioir with only cloth armour. WoW was also my first MMO or RPG game for that matter.
swap paladin for a druid, just cause i prefer druid healing to pally healing, holydin is boring as hell

tis why I made a druid who is at 76 atm.
I'd swap my shammy for either a mage or druid.
I have an 80 druid and i don't regret my choice, maybe a little bit but only because it's a little annoying that just must be in one of the forms when you're in combat so you can't relaly see the pretty armor :/. I'm also thinking of starting again next week, should i go resto or stay feral. I've gotten tired with feral really.
1st char was a rogue - no regrets
invited a friend and raffed a pally to 60... regret it sooo much. i would rather have a caster... preferably a druid
I'd have levelled pretty much any other class to 80 instead of my hunter, once you get a good rotation down, that's it.
Always wanted a Hunter. Just seem so...badass at 80, despite there being an overflow of them.
