shooting a weakened enemy with a pistol in gtaiv doing a tic tac in ac:b
First Encounter Assault Recon Kicking, gibbing and lots of gore makes everything satisfying.

But say in like Mirrors Edge, while you are fairly weak, if you do go all out you are practically a free running martial arts god. Simply because the game doesn't really seem to impose any real limit to how much ass you can kick.
Satellite crashing in BC2.
In MW2 and Black Ops when you kill someone and you can see how much XP you get. Love it.

There's games where simply upping the ante is pointless, and there's games where it can be extremely effective. I like when it's effective.
Whenever the EXP marker in Fallout: New Vegas comes up as +150 or more.
The Quake Announcer and all his sound alikes. Who doesn't get a sadistic grin when they blow someone into meaty chunks and hear "DOMINATING!"?
Love playing an RTS game, and mixing squads of troops together to make an unstoppable force and just watching them plough through everyone, and everything in their path.
The satisfaction of firestorming the enemies' base in Company of Heroes as the nazis.
I also love when playing GTA IV (or EFLC) and you're stuck behind cover, and have to fight your way through several tens of enemies to escape.
Red Dead Redemption: Euphoria. Never had so much fun shooting hookers.
Standing in a pile of dead guards in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, after killing all of them flawlessly with the Dagger of Brutus. Just using that dagger hits the spot. Hell, all of the kills in that game is really satisfying.
Pentakill!

Stealing gold in Morrowind. God I love the sound gold would make in that game as you picked it up.
Killing an enemy with in one hit in Mount & Blade, feels good man.
Headshot from a long distance with sniper rifle (especially in BC2, I love to see those points coming).
Killing that one enemy who has kept you stuck on the same mission for ages.
Whenever you gain a new power in Psychonauts, I love when the music plays and Raz demonstrates his new power.
Freelancer, when you kill someone. Nothing beats watching them scream over the radio as their ship spirals out of control.
When you finish a boss battle in Super Meat Boy after 800 000 000 tries
I know something that is the complete opposite of what this thread is about, the sound that plays when a farm is depleted in Age of Empires 2. That sound has a direct connection to the stress hormones in my brain.
The sound of an arrow flying in a perfect arc then lodging itself firmly into the back of the head of an unsuspecting humanoid enemy in Oblivion. The first time I played Fallout 3 and emerged from the Vault. It was like, whoa. At that point I knew I was in for a cool game.
The satisfaction of firestorming the enemies' base in Company of Heroes as the nazis.
That shit is for pussies, real men use V-1's.
Red Dead Redemption: Euphoria. Never had so much fun shooting hookers.
Haha yeah, I remember the first time I played Red Dead Redemption on my friend's PS3, we pretty much spent the first hour and a half just running into people and knocking them over. The next whoa moment was when I stood on the edge of a cliff and just looked at the vast lands that stretched as far as the eye could see. It was a truly majestic sight. RDR really does an awesome job at capturing the feel of the Old West.
The entire campaign of Republic Commando.
The entire campaign of Republic Commando.
The viroblades (that's their name right?) in that are so god damn awesome, I'd spend hours EMPing super battle droids and STAB STAB STAB STAB STAB But yeah, gunship battles in 2142 are incredible when you are up against a good pilot, shit gets intense
