I liked it. Marcus looks exactly the same though. I liked how at the end the Gears, Locust and Lambent were all fighting each other. Also Dom looks ready to give up, when the drone had him he looked like he didn't care he was about to die, and then he was surprised (and maybe even annoyed) when Marcus saved him.
As always this is an impressive trailer... but like all of the other [I]Gears of War[/I] games it will be, in my opinion, generic and dull. Grey, brown, more grey and some random concrete waist-high cover. Super.
I have always loved that "Mad World" trailer and this new trailer is quite good too. I like how the characters have aged and the cinematography at the start. What I don't like is the addition of a new female character. Female soldier characters tend to be cheesy and add nothing to the storyline other than someone who can get in trouble and require rescuing all the time + cock tease that Hollywood and game developers think they need to put in everything. They better not make a shitty love story out of this.
The other stuff I don't like is just things that are inherently wrong with the [I]Gears[/I] games, like how stupidly muscular everyone is.
Springing a new enemy on us on the last game? I don't know how long the game will be, but enemies made up for only 7 hours of campaign don't really feel right, especially if they are going to be the end boss.

In the first one Carmine died in the first level, in the second one Carmine lasted until about half-way through the game. I bet C. Carmine will make it till the end, and die in a heroic sacrifice or something.

Nah things like that happen, look at Pompeii for instance, they found people frozen in rock. Also I'm guessing it was a light mass bomb, it just seems like the kind of thing that would do that.

More like since Gears 1.
This game will be great as long as they fix the melee system because in Gears 2 you never got stunned if you were shot at while melee attacking but in Gears 1 you did which helped balance out the power of the melee attack. Oh and another major thing they need to fix is the lag because Gears 2 had the worst lag problems I have ever seen in any game ever.

I see no reason for this trailer to be impressive, the game isn't coming out until 1 year precisely. I'm sure they'll show something better.

I liked the Crysis 2 trailer more, this was pretty decent. Can't say I'm hyped but Gears 2 was pretty good. Multiplayer was a joke though.
