Pistols are so awesome. I once played with nothing without my Carnifex and got up to round 9.
So I heard that playing multiplayer when you get the game increases your chances of getting a better ending.
I'm not always capable to play multiplayer...and I really don't want to wait for when I can just so I can get a better ending.
Has it been discussed how integral this is going to have to be? Can I get the "best" (if there is one) ending without having to play multiplayer?
So I'm using Gibbed's Save Editor to ressurect Wrex and getting just shy of enough Paragon points from subtracting from Renegade points to be able to apologize to Jack.
How do I import this modified game save? I can't find a guide anywhere..

You can get the best ending without playing multiplayer; MP just makes it a little easier (allegedly)

But now when I talk to her she just says Fuck Off. Not even a cutscene. I think that's what's supposed to happen but it seems like she knows what I have done..

Ok strange. In the editor it says Wrex is still alive but in game I still only talk to Wreav. Wonder what's going to happen in ME3..
Finished up my ME3 save tonight, just got done with Shadow Borker a little bit ago. ME3's going to get mighty interesting, just like I'm interested in seeing how my Shepard will look (tried to replicate him in the ME3 creator and failed repeatedly.)
Also I'm deeply regretting not choosing Liara as an LI, Ashley didn't age well at all in terms of both character development and design.

To be honest it'll be needed, remember when someone posted player comments about ME2, and they complained how "Grunt was loyal, why didn't he work in the vents?" Or, "Why did half my team die when I had a third of them loyal?"

You'll lose sales if you don't "dumb the game down" for those kinds of people, and a developer'd probably expect the vast majority of their fans to complain but ultimately buy the game anyway.

the way the mechanic works is that once you level a character up to 20 in multiplayer you promote them to the main game which will contribute to your galactic readiness. one promotion is like 70 points. the higher your galactic readiness score the better your ending obviously.
From what I have interpreted, and I haven't followed the game too closely so someone feel free to correct me, is that in singleplayer you have a mechanic called Galactic Readiness, and getting that up affects the ending, and that the coop mode increases your readiness. I may be wrong.
