yeah, I did everything you did, except for rank 4 charge, I chose the damage one, but in retrospect, the two targets thing would have been nice as well.
as for fitness rank 5, I'm sure which one to go with (I haven't gotten to it yet). I don't end up using melee much, seeing as I need to keep charging to stay alive, and meleeing only delays it, but I don't really need the shield charge seeing as I recover it by charging in the first place. I guess choosing the shield one is fine, its useful even if it doesn't exactly fit the build
I also haven't gotten to rank 4-6 shockwave, but that's probably what'd I'd go with as well.
Yeah, those were the 2 I was in 2 minds about as well. The charge is a toughie, since the 2 targets I guess can be a bit more situational, where-as the charge speed is constant, but when the 2 targets works, it's really good.
Heavy melee might be okay for the phantoms and stuff to finish them off, but the bonus wouldn't really be used constantly after that.
I've purchased 5 veteran packs. Still haven't unlocked ANY characters aside from the starting ones.

I've only gotten characters out of recruit packs :v:
Same, recruit packs were the only ones I got characters out of
Friend just installed the demo, already unlocked like 4 new races.
It's always a good sign when one can leave this thread for a few hours and then come back and see 300+ new posts.
So is there any database or something that can tell me all the maps/enemys for the multiplayer?
These recruit packs are so dumb..

Just play MP. There aren't that many.
Just started a new Mass Effect 1 playthrough. Brings back memories of picking it up on a whim for the 360 when it first came out, having no idea what it was going to be like and having no clue what to expect. If only I could play it through again without knowing what was going to happen.
Nothin' like a nice fourth replay of ME:2

Definitely one of the better custom Shepard's I've seen. I can't get any of my custom MaleShep's to look right when they're talking.
I just played the demo recently and it feels off. The animation seems rigid and the movement during gameplay feels sluggish. The camera work is all wrong, I felt queasy during one scene where Anderson and Shepard are bobbing up and down while running and the camera is right in their faces. Some of the voice acting sounded like they literally got some random off the street on their way into the studio that day and without any rehearsal had him read lines off. And what was so wrong with the last two menus/UIs that they had to overhaul it again? I don't want to have to relearn the UI every time.
It's almost time for release, I'm definitely going to have to go back and see if I just need to readjust to that style of gameplay after playing Alan Wake, Skyward Sword and Skyrim with such a long gap beforehand.

Yeah, that walking with Anderson scene's camera really bothered me, and movies like Cloverfield never did with its Shakycam.

I don't think I'll ever be ok with this..
Fucking Origin.
Just unlocked the Widow in multiplayer, I never need a rocket again, this thing is ludicrous.
Anybody want to play coop?

What else is there to play together?

Nothing, was just asking if anybody wanted to play the MP :P?

I can't even get the Steam overlay to work with ME3.
This MP is so dead..

Run the exe in binaries through Steam.
Why are you saying the MP is dead?
Anyway, in the SP portion of the demo. How did the kid survive the room he was in being blown up by the Reaper's laser? (Assuming he is real)

You do realize you can disable Origin's overlay.
You do realize you can disable Origin's overlay.
I did. But to invite people you need Origin enabled.
I'm not saying it's annoying as in it's there. It's just I have to use two overlays to talk to people.
I wish I could work on imported faces.
They can either look extremely better in the next game, or ugly as sin.

From what I've heard, much of the content in the demo is anywhere from 2-6 months old, with the Earth demo sequence being one of the older, less polished segments. This is all hearsay, mind you, but a friend of mine got a chance to play the demo when it was released at the shows last year, and apparently the one we're getting now really isn't any different.
Hopefully the final product will show substantially more polish. Guess we'll know in 16 days, eh?
So, would anyone like to play the demo with me?
I promise to not be as mediocre has at least a third of the lower echelon.
Dejarie for both Steam and Origin.
After earning about 40000 credits in a Silver match I finally got a Quarian. I am very excited.

What does he look like in ME3? You got the code, right?

I thought that and I hope that's the case.
