Is it true that if your reach level 20 or simply higher than level 1 with one class in multiplayer, then unlock a different race for the same class, it will also have that level?

Something occurred to me at the end of playing the Arrival DLC for ME2. After letting 300,000 Batarian colonists die you get end up getting court martialled shortly before the events of ME3. However earlier in the game you can be reinstated as Spectre. If you are reinstated as Spectre why don't you tell him to fuck off and that it was Spectre business? As a Spectre it technically is within your authority to destroy entire systems because you are above the law. You can do whatever the hell you want.

Batarians were trying to nuke Terra Nova with an asteroid and fail.
Human population of 4.4 million saved.
Nobody cares.
Humans try to save the whole galaxy from the reapers.
Killing only 300000 batarians in the process.
Humans are suddenly "bad guys".
I got the demo and played some of the multiplayer with my friend. It's [i]really[/i] fun.

Techincally you are "reinstated", but officially [sp]you're just a ghost.[/sp](I'm only spoiler tagging just to be on the safe side).
I find multiplayer to be fun when people actually help out instead of just staying in one spot.

Put me in a room with a Reaper, a Batarian, and two bullets that could kill Reapers in one hit and I would shoot the Batarian twice. Seriously, Batarians are assholes and if I get the chance I would wipe them out in ME3. Screw being a paragon these douchebags deserve it.

I doubt you would be able to wipe out the vorcha as they know gavorns tricks and will leave.
I hope theres the option to fire the batarian homeworld into the reaper fleet.

Personally I like to see it as a form of commentary and also a bit of an moral test.
By hating all Batarians for being horrible assholes, you're just as bad as them. They're not mindless machines, a handful you meet can be reasoned with, one openly shows regret for being racist (one in Mordin's mission, the sick one).

Your game is glitched out, the FIRST Class and RACE you play is the only one which has WORKING HOTKEYS.
You have to RESTART the game and play the Quarian Engineer to have proper hotkeys for her or any other class/race. (Restart for them too).
So yes, switching classes is annoying
