does anyone else encounter enemies slowly sliding into cover while they are a couple feet away in the demo? it looks pretty hilarious. i'm not sure if its a bug or just lag
lol people on BSN are already criticizing the fuck out of the trailer.
I'm glad they made Ashley hotter. She looked like a dude in the previous games
Yeah, shes looking pretty hot in that smoldering radioactive crater on Virmire where I left her.
lol people on BSN are already criticizing the fuck out of the trailer.
How surprising :sarcasm: There are some legitimate complaints that can be made for the trailer though. The CGI girl is Uncanny Valley incarnate, the pacing is mediocre at best, and it presents itself a lot like "GENERIC SCI-FI SHOOTER #323!" It's extremely well animated and is clearly hyping a lot of fans up, but it's not perfect. The Mass Effect 2 launch trailer, in my opinion, was much better. Also, apparently this trailer isn't even the full version so hey.
Them haters can piss off. Blur has constantly produced high-quality stuff http://vz3.blur.com/work/cinematics?sort=alpha

The pacing certainly wasn't normal, but I got the feeling that was intentionally done.
I'm glad they made Ashley hotter. She looked like a dude in the previous games
You must know some pretty well endowed dudes then.
The Mass Effect 2 launch trailer, in my opinion, was much better.
Is this their 'launch trailer'? I just assumed there was going to be a launch trailer and that this wasn't it.
Is this their 'launch trailer'? I just assumed there was going to be a launch trailer and that this wasn't it.
True enough. I suppose a more apt comparison would be...well, the Blur Studios trailer for Mass Effect 2.
I really hope these 'booster packs' aren't in the real game but they probably are. I really hope they don't implement trading but they probably already have. But if they have hats. That would make everything better but they probably don't.
I think the funniest thing about the new trailer is at the end it says "Better with Kinect for Xbox 360" Hilarious.
So. I'm at the end of the Overlord quest line and I have multiple playthroughs but I didn't have Overlord until now. WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO FOR THE END DECISION? I mean if it helps to make a peace between the Quarians and Geth... I also don't feel an autistic would be our best representative. I did rewrite the Geth so that may come into play. What did you guys do?

What did you guys do?
Are you a fucking monster? There shouldn't be ANY hesitation in what you do. It's possibly the single most clear-cut decision in the entire trilogy and, if I were a psychologist, I'd say that the decision you make in regards to David is a tell-tale sign of the kind of person you are. You let him the fuck go. And if you don't... you might just be worse than Hitler.
So I sacrifice a possible peace between the Geth and every other civilization/Quarians for his sake. The line is so perfectly divided here I don't know what to do. Death of millions for the sacrilege of one.
My ME1 100% completion run is finally done on this fucking character. April 6th, 2011 - February 20th, 2012 I'm never playing this fucking game again

Death of millions for the sacrilege of one.
The Geth could simply bugger off elsewhere if they wanted to and the Quarians would never have a chance in hell at finding them, and the Quarians could simply man the fuck up and stop trying to get revenge on the Geth for exiling them. If either one of them ends up extinct its their own damn fault for not being the bigger man and realising that war is stupid. David on the other hand has absolutely NOTHING to do with any of this. He's a civilian causality in all of this and was forced into one of the most horrifying situations ever by his brother who was supposed to take care of him and protect him from the very evils he ended up putting him through. To leave him in that infernal contraption would be one of the most blatantly monstrous decisions a sentient being could ever make.

I agree that the Quarians are being extremely thick and are the ones preventing an alliance. Still, I would subject myself to David's torture if it meant I could save millions of lives.

I haven't really been keeping up lately, tried to go dark but the new trailers were too tempting, but I heard from a friend that they have gay romance? I thought they already said no to that ages ago?
If the people in question are as stupid as the Geth/Quarians then their loss probably benefits every other sentient being everywhere.
Aghh fuck this is a tough decision. So I'm thinking, heretics have been rewritten, other geth want to live in peace, an autistic would not be the best medium between two civilizations. Last thing preventing me from taking him with me. This is the most uncontested decision in the game, and BioWare might just decide to fuck us up and make a renegade choice actually mean something. [editline]20th February 2012[/editline] You know what, I'm taking him, the whole operation is under Cerberus control. We know what that means. But I am not pistol whipping good Dr. Archer.
Mass effect 3 spoiler [sp]They were in a gang, and in ME3 apparently their old gang shows up as Mercenaries, or so I've heard[/sp] Also, does anyone else wish you could skip the ME2 intro? It takes so long.
I like the intro, but Freedom's Progress can go fuck itself. Still, it's much better than the ME3 intro that we saw in the demo.
But I am not pistol whipping good Dr. Archer.
You best be joking. How, in good conscience, can you call Archer "good?" He's a HORRIFIC human being.
Trailer is awesome, but i expected more than 1 minute, like ME2 Cinematic. Or is this just a short version and they will release full trailer later? edit: im slow, watch the extended cut on Tuesday, 21th.
More vehicles etc in ME3 would be cool, but what I really want is a bit larger battlefields with more allied NPC soldiers. I always liked generic soldiers in games. Of course having battles going on in the background would be cool as well, but seeing how graphically disappointing the backdrop on the Earth level was, eh.
Trailer is awesome, but i expected more than 1 minute, like ME2 Cinematic. Or is this just a short version and they will release full trailer later?
Uncut trailer comes out on Tuesday.
If I do a little comic strip based off a small non-spoiler tidbit from the leak would it be alright to post here before the game is released? Morale dilemma here.
I'm gonna play as Ultimate "MVP w/out shots" Vanguard, looking for company.

So Krogan Soldier is hilarious on bronze but seems pretty meh on higher difficulties. Two of his non-fitness powers are based on melee which seems like a bad idea in general.
