Wait, [sp]The rachni queen turns evil if you let her live? and you face rachni anyway if you kill her? fuck's sake bioware, way to screw over the people who were in this from the start. I might as well have not got ME1...[/sp]
the illusion of choice
the illusion of choice
Bioware = Gman?

It's way too hard to make a game actually dynamic in the sense that things will have severe changes depending on your actions, just half-ass it and make it fast because EA gave you a deadline and you mustn't upset the overlords. [sp]dohoho did you choose to make anderson join the council? too damn bad he quit idiot now he's an admiral too just like he would be if he never did become a councilman[/sp]
I still can't understand how BioWare could forget to make chat for Multiplayer. And writing through "say" command is inconvenient because messages are on screen only for short time and there is no chat history
They should have emotes or selectable voice commands, so that the characters can say stuff. They kinda assume that everyone has a mic/is confident enough to use a mic, whereas that isn't necessarily the case.
the illusion of choice
how is it a illusion? You chose one option over the other and you suffer the consequences.
The first of many shite plot related choices made by Bioware.
ME1: Shepard, you must decide whether to let the Rachni queen live, or sentence it to death. Be aware that the species has been all but wiped out by the Krogan in century long warfare, it is the VERY LAST OF IT'S KIND [sp]ME3: oh wait we found another one nm lol[/sp]

DING DONG BANNU!
how is it a illusion? You chose one option over the other and you suffer the consequences.
But the consequences are the same regardless of what you choose
how is it a illusion? You chose one option over the other and you suffer the consequences.
its an illusion because both choice a and choice b lead to the same outcome regardless of the extraneous details

Not surprised that not everyone is happy.
I think the funniest thing about the new trailer is at the end it says "Better with Kinect for Xbox 360" Hilarious.
You can't blame them, they're just trying to make money.
Bioware are trying to find a balance between a cinematic and engaging plot while still giving people a chance to mess around and make changes to people and the world around you. Not surprised that not everyone is happy.
But there are no changes, I think that's the issue here
You best be joking. How, in good conscience, can you call Archer "good?" He's a HORRIFIC human being.
He's not horrific to the people who chose David to keep working.

How, in good conscience, can you call Archer "good?" He's a HORRIFIC human being.
He just got a little in over his head and was trying to salvage what he could. That being said, I still go paragon in that decision consistently, hopefully Archer gets to visit his brother from time to time.
Have you heard how [sp]the Prothean sound like? He sounds something between nigerian and jamaican. Is that good?[/sp]
Wait there's already something out that shows him talking? Link please.
I find it interesting how the general assumption was that [sp]the Rachni Queen was a sure thing for paragons.[/sp]
I always assumed it would turn out bad, but still made the paragon choice.
Wait there's already something out that shows him talking? Link please.
I think there's other videos, but this is the only one I can find. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eK99_T61alc
True. But I still think lazorbeems are very inefficient if you're a super high technological "race".
That's forgetting Indoctrination, Husks, their patience and numbers. Hundreds, possibly thousands of nigh invincible Reapers unless you've got a few dreadnoughts and a fleet to back them, with control of almost all FTL travel in the galaxy. All they have to do is shut down the relay network, and isolate colonies from their homeworlds. If they did it systematically or attacked all worlds at once (as many as possible, anyway), it would still take some time. More likely, they shut down the relays, and took out each system planet by planet. Meanwhile, with FTL heavily crippled and transit between systems now restricted only to local clusters, some worlds would just outright starve or collapse without galactic imports. Lower populations, no organization, and few resources could take care of more than a few colonies. Regardless, without anywhere to run, all it would take is for the Reapers to indoctrinate survivors of a primary assault and use them as ground troops to sweep and clear planets. Hell, even Vigil said that some were used as sleeper agents. Even if it took years, decades or centuries, they'd still do it. They don't care, they're ancient fucking eldritch abominations. Sentient quasi-organic machines. They're patient. It's clear that the Reapers are very effective at doing what they do. Their goal is not to eradicate all life in the galaxy, but to cull it. They need organics.

Shouldn't they be getting some Antibiotics?
Wait, [sp]The rachni queen turns evil if you let her live? and you face rachni anyway if you kill her? fuck's sake bioware, way to screw over the people who were in this from the start. I might as well have not got ME1...[/sp]
What? Then what was the bullshit with sending an Asari to say she's doing good? God fucking damnit Bioware.
probably a case of "we wanted to do something cool but then we had to get the game out by march"
What? Then what was the bullshit with [sp]sending an Asari to say she's doing good?[/sp] God fucking damnit Bioware.
[sp]She is good. She didn't turn on her own initiative, she is indoctrinated[/sp]
So if the Reapers are the peak of technology, then why do they need to go down to the surface of a planet to destroy it?
So Shepard can melee them. [editline]20th February 2012[/editline] Saren betrayed the spectre's? I thought he was brainwashed. Everyone who betrays the good guys are brainwashed.
I think there's other videos, but this is the only one I can find. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eK99_T61alc
This one sounds cleaner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DC82w2lvUrw
So, most of the actions throughout the ME1 and even ME2 turned out to be [sp]useless bullshit, which doesn't have any impact on the story in ME3. Rachni are there no matter what did you do to them, Illusive man gets indoctrinated no matter what you did to collectors base (indoctrinated by a space dust that's left of station if you blew it up)... Geth base most likely won't have any impact at all.[/sp] How unexpected, right.
there are no bad guys in the mass effect universe [sp]the good guys were all just indoctrinated by the reapers![/sp]
This one sounds cleaner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DC82w2lvUrw
hahaha, i love the reactions to this so much. "this accent is so weird and stupid, why can't it be a normal (white american) accent!"
