Goddamn you two are slow, this has been known for ages. Early access is only for the multiplayer portion of the demo. Everyone gets it on the 14th, those who don't have BF3 have to wait until the 17th to play the multiplayer. Also, I don't see how this... ...seems tacked on?
Anyone notice how "darker" means black oval on your screen? Like in that video just now, look at the corners.
Here we go. In ME Evolution comic series we had an admiral. In one of novels, couple of female Turian soldiers were mentioned. Also, even Garrus said that he served on ship with female Turian, who also a soldier and excellent fighter that is toe to toe with Garrus. And after fight they had sex. Or played Twister.
That was my post on BSN. lol? Anyway, again with ME3 Demo. Everyone will get Singleplayer portion of ME3 Demo on 14th February. Those with Battlefield 3 or some other mean( Bioware will say on 7th February) can play Co-Op portion of ME3 Demo on 14th February, while anyone else have to wait for 17th February. Also, XBOX360 players without Gold account will have to wait until 21st February for ME3 Demo, though that's Microsoft's policy. But, when they download ME3 Demo, they will get free Gold account that will until 5th March, same day when ME3 Demo Co-Op is shut down.
That was my post on BSN. lol?
Wasn't sure if it was you or someone else, my bad.
Gonna correct myself. That female Turian in Evolution is not Admiral, but Lieutenant. Her name is Abrudas. BTW, this is Dark Horse so her terrible look that contradicts what Garrus says about female Turian when failing to flirt FemShep, so it's non-canon look.
Also, I don't see how this... VIDEO ...seems tacked on?
I hope it surprises us, but from what I seen and heard, it seems a bit barebones, I wouldn't doubt it if the Trailer is way better than it actually is. (Which is the point of promo trailers anyway)
Wasn't sure if it was you or someone else, my bad.
Heh? [editline]4th February 2012[/editline] Oh and another female Turian is ambassador Orinia on Citadel. Only mentioned in Revelations, when met with Anderson to crack down Cerberus.
Replaying ME2, I find it odd just how much emphasis is being placed on "SUICIDE MISSION". ME1 did the whole "Race against time thing", and it worked, because there really was something at stake. But in ME2? Shit, colonists in the Terminus Systems are being abducted! It's a SUICIDE MISSION!
It's a race against time in a way for that as well. If you don't go into the Omega 4 Relay right away you lose more crew members than you would if you did.
Heh? [editline]4th February 2012[/editline] Oh and another female Turian is ambassador Orinia on Citadel.
Why the heh? Just apologizing that I didn't notice. I quickly just copy and pasted the post from BSN.
And that's the point. Why are you apologizing at all? Just confused a bit with that.
And that's the point. Why are you apologizing at all? Just confused a bit with that.
Just trying to be polite and nice is all. :v:
It's a race against time in a way for that as well. If you don't go into the Omega 4 Relay right away you lose more crew members than you would if you did.
I think part of the issue was that Mass Effect's main story felt like a movie and you felt the desire to catch Saren before he brought the Reapers back. Mass Effect 2 on the other hand felt more like a TV series in the sense that it maintained the cinematic quality, but it traded in the heavy single story aspect for a more multi-story and character-driven game. Instead of one major story, you had all these little stories that didn't directly relate to the main plot and dealt only on the characters (which are great nonetheless). The Collector ordeal gave you more of a feeling that you had 'plenty' of time to prepare and manage everything (that is until retrieving the Reaper IFF and your crew is abducted). I think Mass Effect 2 also suffered to an extent because of its lack of a confrontational villain. In Mass Effect you had Saren, Benezia, and Sovereign who acted as a 'Trinity of Villainy'- so to speak. You would encounter them several times throughout the main story. Harbinger, however, was completely absent physically; and although Harbinger is technically omnipresent in certain encounters he lacked the menace that Sovereign delivered and turned into an all-to-typical taunting boss (but we've been through this issue before). Hopefully, the presence of [sp]Kai Leng[/sp] and the attacking Reapers (and hopefully another 'boss' Reaper other than Harbinger) in Mass Effect 3 will remedy this to a degree.
It's a race against time in a way for that as well. If you don't go into the Omega 4 Relay right away you lose more crew members than you would if you did.
But you just say FUCK THIS SHIT on the IFF mission, do everything, get IFF, do Legion's thing and then ENDGAME ME1 they built up to OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH FUCK WHAT'S SAREN DOIN GOTTA FIND OUT BEFORE SHIT GOES DOWN and you literally get to him at the LAST SECOND and stop him which is what makes ME1 a much better story because you're racing against time with a squad of people that dwindles down as time goes on, be it the human person who dies depending on your SUPER IMPORTANT CHOICE or Wrex or whatever, but you feel more and more hopeless as the game goes on. ME2 alerts you to the threat that people are dying or some shit immediately, but rather than focusing on the idea of stopping the collectors, it's focused more on the idea of OKAY WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE SO LET'S GET A BUNCH OF SKILLED PEOPLE TO DIE WITH US AND PREPARE The theme of building up a force can create some really cool tension if mixed well with the OH SHIT FUCK FUCK QUICK HURRY but ME2 handles it more mechanically other than presenting you the threat if you do complete every loyalty mission and get every upgrade. If you could introduce the player to the colonies as mroe than just HEY THIS IS A BAD THING and give them a reason to want to rush in unprepared for the sake of everyone, then it'd be a pretty fucking cool story with lots of tension and decision making that's not just dialogue wheels. Why am I typing this I'm too tired. EDIT: ACtually I jus got ninja'd like fuck nvm
So wait, what's this about multiplayer sucking all of a sudden?
So wait, what's this about multiplayer sucking all of a sudden?
All races have one gender, besides human, all races are locked, besides Male Human, all races are only two classes, besides human. There is no indepth customization (only color and pattern). Not awful, but not feelin to hot about it either. [editline]4th February 2012[/editline] I just hope the images I saw of the MP are horribly out-dated :v:

Or maybe that's just another class.

[editline]4th February 2012[/editline] Basically, two classes have that heavy armor deathmask look (Vanguard, Soldier) two have that recon hood (forgot which, I think Adept and Infiltrator) and the other two have some other outfit.
Another class. Salarian or Asari it is then~
I'm just hoping the (leaked?) Pictures of MP I saw were really out-dated. but I'm sure it will still be fun with friends.
Oh, that's no problem, The germs are filtered by...uh...Mass Effect Fields, Yeah that
Hot drink. Bacteria enzymes denatured by high temperature. Bacteria die.

You know what I would love doing in the ME universe? Going to a bar on the Citadel and discussing evolution and the galaxy with aliens.
Is it strange that after playing through both ME1 and ME2 multiple times that I have no interest in playing through ME3?
Is it strange that after playing through both ME1 and ME2 multiple times that I have no interest in playing through ME3?
You didn't really give any reasons, but sure I guess. You're just sick of Mass-Effect I suppose.
You didn't really give any reasons, but sure I guess. You're just sick of Mass-Effect I suppose.
Sorry I wasnt very specific haha. I just feel like the transition the franchise has gone through doesnt really translate well, for me at least. ME1 was more like KOTOR because it was an RPG with combat elements, now I feel like ME3 is an action game with some light RPG elements. Where ME2 was a weird redheaded stepchild that had a balance of both, but more leaning towards an action game. The universe itself is fascinating, but it just seems like its become more of a "Fuck Yeah" kind of game (ala Gears of War) , as opposed to a more in depth, take-your-time-and-let-it-all-soak-in kind of game. Probably just me.

Cause if I gotta play as some chick with a blue flower for a head just to be an Adept I don't think multiplayer's gonna be seeing me much.
Is it strange that after playing through both ME1 and ME2 multiple times that I have no interest in playing through ME3?
Depends whether or not you enjoyed ME1/ME2/ read the script for ME3.

Also sent it to my boyfriend who's just now getting in the games and I was worried he'd miss the best DLC mission that's not LOTSB.
