I think I've been killed more by turrets than anything else. Also, I think turrets will automatically blow up after a certain amount of time.
Thankfully I've recently discovered that a fully upgraded Nova with focus on Damage will one-shot any turrets, and seriously damage anything with barriers/armor (I can take 2-3 pips off an Atlas for example). The only issue is that Nova is almost entirely useless against shields... which almost every "hard" enemy has, including turrets. Until I slowly chink away at their shields with my pistol from a distance, or until someone else takes them down, I'm pretty much usless as a vanguard. The only situation this doesn't apply to is against softer targets like Nemis's and Centurions, because I can use my charge/nova/melee to juggle them to death. Stuff I can't juggle like Atlases or turrets I'm a sitting duck against though.
I wish I pre-ordered the N7 Collector Ed when I had the chance from Amazon, everywhere else around here in NZ is selling it for $150-170 NZD ($125-142 USD).
assuming you want it on pc, i am about to make your day http://www.mightyape.com.au/product/PC-Games/Mass-Effect-3-Collectors-Edition/10768520/
I'm getting the Collector's Edition from Gamestop. Is that N7 Hoodie a real hoodie from the bioware store? Or is it an in game hoodie for Shepard to wear on his ship. I hope to god it's a real hoodie that would be amazing.
I'm going to pre-order another copy of ME3 from GAME for the sake of the N7 warfare dlc and then return it the next day and get battlefield 3. I've already pre-ordered the N7 edition from EB Games but you get an inflatable omniblade instead of dlc.

I was more leaning towards the 360 version of the game because my main Sheps and DLC are on that (get a cheap key for the PC version at a later date for other means) but thanks for showing me that. It seems I can get it delivered to NZ too. AUS ME3 CE $127 NZD NZ ME3 CE $150 NZD I should be able to play it on my console right? I hope so.
Yes you will be able to, since we're both apart of the PAL region.
Hope is now restored, thanks guys.
I'm going to pre-order another copy of ME3 from GAME for the sake of the N7 warfare dlc and then return it the next day and get battlefield 3.
I'm sorry but this is just a scum thing to do. Preorder a game, take the dlc code, and then return it? Have some damn decency. [editline]21st February 2012[/editline]
No, it's one for Shepard's casual wear.
That sucks. I want a real N7 Hoodie but I don't want to pay $50 for the damn thing.
I'm sorry but this is just a scum thing to do. Preorder a game, take the dlc code, and then return it? Have some damn decency.
You're absolutely right, I don't know what I was thinking. I should keep the game so I have two copies of the same game.
Why do you have 2?
Because returning the 2nd copy and keeping the DLC is the most despicable thing anyone can do. If I had a friend that lived close to me, I would give them the game but I don't :(
It's still screwing people over
I'm getting the Collector's Edition from Gamestop. Is that N7 Hoodie a real hoodie from the bioware store? Or is it an in game hoodie for Shepard to wear on his ship.
Because returning the 2nd copy and keeping the DLC is the most despicable thing anyone can do. If I had a friend that lived close to me, I would give them the game but I don't :(
paying double for some extra measly dlc is pretty pathetic
It's still screwing people over
How is it screwing people over? [editline]21st February 2012[/editline]
paying double for some extra measly dlc is pretty pathetic
As I said before I'll be exchanging it for Battlefield 3. If I had known that GAME was getting exclusive DLC I would have purchased from them instead of EB Games. Though I can't get a refund at EB Games because part of the payment was done with a gift card.
So if I pre-order the Collectors edition off of Origin, how does the physical stuff work? Will they send me the same box I would get if I bought it retail?
Ha! You wish.
Personally I dunno if i'm ok with all this "pre-order from THIS location and get THIS item", I don't think i'm really down with that. I'm pretty sure this heresy is EA's doing, but i'm kinda understanding of BioWare's art department. Y'see, near the end of the development cycle, when most of the development and stuff's been done, the art team aren't really doing anything. They can't do any of the coding, they can't implement a new monster or event when there's barely any time left before launch, since they pretty much made pretty much all the assets that are needed. Things like skins and cosmetic DLC are usually what the art teams have done during that time, and the stuff is understandable. Making Day One DLC that isn't cosmetic kinda takes away development time from other things that needed more time, and I dunno if i'm down with it.
Either way, we'll get it all eventually, if they go the same way as ME2.
So I go to the store and buy myself a Veteran pack in hopes of unlocking a new character. The system goes full retard and doesn't process my purchase. Worst thing of all, it doesn't refund me my credits. A good match's earnings gone to waste..
7 hrs late but anyway.... I'v had this too, It says something like "Purchase didn't work, contact support" You still get yout items from the pack, It's just that the little slideshow with them didn't start
well titties, i just read a huge spoiler on the wikia i mean i know it can't be confirmed until the game comes out but i'm kinda pissed
Just visited the Mass Effect store on BioWare's website and was very happy to see the Mordin and Legion shirts making their debut :v: Now I can't figure out what to buy. The shirt or the figure..?
Honestly, how many people have made Iron Man Characters? Soldier: Deep Red, orange, black/grey/etc, pattern 1, yellow, yellow lights.
Either way, we'll get it all eventually, if they go the same way as ME2.
If I recall correctly, some people can't get certain DLC for ME2 like the terminus armor(pre-order DLC and then DLC for the PS3) and the Dr Pepper promotion items(I live in Australia and my only methods to get it would be to buy them from ebay or something).
Has it been confirmed that Mass Effect 2 DLC weapons would be carried over into Mass Effect 3?
Most of the weapons have appeared in the weapon list, yes. I don't think you need the ME2 DLCs to access them though.
Unless there's ever been a white and light blue-turquoise Iron Man, not me. I live in Australia too, and I only got the Dr. Pepper one from some guy handing out codes.
:suicide: Can't sleep due to stomach issues, stuck playing the MP demo.
Which is a better choice in ME2, Warp ammo or AP ammo? Playing on normal, for the record.
