Just an FYI, went to GameStop's website and it looks like PC Collector's Editions are back in-stock for preorder. Won't be available for instore pickup though. Only delivery.
Holy shit that mouse pad is sexy, I may get it.
Guys I'm about to buy ME3 on Origin. Should I buy a digital download copy in another place instead of Origin for some extra goodies?

Just go for the cheapest one. Hell, even Amazon is cheaper here than Origin Store.

Hey, Anyone want to join me in a Silver game on the Mass Effect 3 Demo?, we just need 2 people.
Full 1080p version of the Extended Cut for those people who want it on their big screen, the other one was just 720p

i'll do it if you havent gotten anyone else, who do i add
Wow, I re-watched the Fem Shep trailer, I just noticed Jacob for the first time.
I keep getting this retarded latency bug where I can walk around the map but I can't damage enemies, they can't damage me, my powers have no effect, I can't revive allies, in fact I can't do anything whatsoever.
It must be a connection bug because the host sees me as standing still or sliding around but I could be on the other side of the map.
I didn't notice Jacob through all of ME2.
He just blends into the shadows.
Was probably a squad member in ME1 too.

Too busy doing pushups and situps to help you save the galaxy.
I play vanguard because I like the idea of a high risk high reward class, which is what Vanguard is supposed to be. Plus you feel like a total bad-ass warping around everywhere.
The only issue is the fact that the charge and nova are so spammable because when not using any weapons except a pistol you have an almost instant recharge time, allowing you to constantly juggle enemies. Vanguard is somewhat more "balanced" when you actually use beefier weapons and the recharge time isn't so large.
However the whole point of the class are those fast recharge times, since it's one of the only classes where the main damage dealers are it's powers. The way the charge works though (fully restore shields when upgraded) means you are basically impossible to stop, so it's not nearly as "high risk" later levels as it should be.
I feel like the best way to combat this would be to make it so the charge/nova combo does very little agianst shields, requiring the player to heavy melee/use weapons to whittle that down, so they would be weak against anything that is shielded, but good against "unprotected" things. At the same time, they would still be able to survive because of their charge ability, so you don't loose that bad-assery feel.
Another way to go about it would be to simply increase the charge times for their powers, but then that would make it so vanguard is almost useless when using normal weaponry and would also make it so the whole point of what makes vanguard a class to be interested in is negated. Same thing would happen if you made it so the charge ability just recharges less in the way of shields.
Alternatively, could just make it so the charge recharges your health and not your shields, while also causing your shields to instantly start recharging again (but not be insta-maxed). Of course this makes charging "useless" when you are at full health, and you are much easier to kill because of the fact that you generally need shields to take the brunt of damage. But at least they would truely be "high risk" in this situation. Though I feel like they'd need a small damage boost too to compensate, but I dunno.
Just me nit-picking, but wouldn't it have been better if it was, "Take back Earth" instead of "Take Earth back?"
it works either way
i think they wanted to put emphasis on earth hence in the middle
because being on earth is sort of a big deal being you haven't got to go there yet
Has the list of War Assets been posted yet? (300+ new posts)
For those complaining that ME1 & ME2 have no consequences...you'll be very pleased indeed.

i don't i'll be very pleased knowing the fact that nothing i did really mattered
Man, just realised Mass Effect 3 was coming out by march.
Time to play through both games again.

Maybe my phrasing was off; a tonne of what you did matters. Looking at the list, around half of it, if not more [sp]relies on your decisions from previous games. David & Gavin Archer turn up for example. As does attempting to signal the Batarians in Arrival.[/sp]
Got the Claymore
My Turian Sentinel is pretty much complete.

Oh boy, so the choices from completely optional DLC have influence, whilst those from ME1 main plot do not? Because the [sp]Rachni will turn against us any way, because of that secret egg Cerberus will find if you kill the Queen. Indoctrinated race no matter what decision.[/sp]

[sp]You only get Rachni fleets & assets if you save the queen. Although granted, that doesn't excuse the SNAFU that BioWare are pulling with the Rachni.[/sp]

I think I finally figured out how to play the soldier decently.
Started that game at lvl8

even that matters? god
It's the only thing I can kill Guardians with as Vanguard ;_;
Biotic charge and two shots to the head with a shotgun is a perfectly good tactic. If there is more than one guardian and they're too close so you get punched by the one you don't charge, then use shockwave or nova instead, both make the guardians step back and expose themselves long enough for at least two scimitar shots.
Or if you're playing Drell Vanguard, they're hilariously easy because you just pull their shield off of them and shoot them like ordinary suckers.
i'll do it if you havent gotten anyone else, who do i add
Damn Sorry, We already had enough people by the time you posted.
The shorter version had better pacing in my opinion, and better cuts.
I personally disagree. I think this newer one flows a lot better, especially in the introduction segments (before we see Shepard).

Saying march sounds like it's far away, but it's only 16-18 days left (depending on region and all that)

I would've come first too, if it weren't for them meddling Phantoms

Could've sworn they said that [sp]saving the Rachni Queen was one of those "bad paragon" decisions.[/sp]
