Went back to try out an infiltrator in Mass Effect 2 after having so much fun with one in the multiplayer, and by god do I miss a lot of improvements that ME3 has made already. Guns having more kick and responsiveness to them, tighter controls on movement and powers, better graphics options, among other little things.
Oh, and not crashing. That's a nice feature. Crashed two times before I even got to Freedom's Progress, and I needed to restart my computer because my sound card loves to loop the sound that a program makes as it crashes. (if someone knows a way to fix that, it would be nice to figure something out. google hasn't helped much)

I took a break from ME2 demo and went to play ME2 for a while, but the sniping slowdown, no matter how fun it is, ruined my demo sniping skills

The multiplayer is already full of cheaters, people are posting Coalesced mods on Bioware forums.

I mean they did these mods with a text editor or some sort of tool to open the bin file. This can hardly be considered hacking, it's a mod. Good job Bioware securing your games from exploits any teenager can make use of.

Thank you Bioware for letting me play your MP demo for 60 hours like a complete tool and only unlocking a Turian Sentinel.
Now I got Salarian Infil, Drell Vanguard, Quarian Engineer, Hornet Guns, and lots of other cool shit.
Why not make a proper item system? Weapon crates, character crates etc but instead of random system make everything damn expensive so you have a goal to get like 250000 credits but at least unlock what you wanted.

I just swapped Rarity_UltraRare and Rarity_Rare with Rarity_Common and vice versa. Now I will be able to everything for 1 credits and only get the good stuff.
Will post my own mod soon if I get both Asari and can confirm it working.
Seriously I never saw Asari Vnaguard ever.
I still have yet to see Asari Vanguard. I'm pretty sure there are only 2 race options for each class in the beta. Once you have Salarian Infiltrator, Krogan Soldier, Drell Vanguard, Asari Adept, Quarian Engineer, and Turian Sentinel that's it for the beta.
Haven't seen opposite gender humans for the classes either.
The crate system is the framework to monetize game content, calling it now. I can see no other way why they wouldn't just do a traditional progression system.

Indeed; it kinda sucks that you gotta buy more points when you almost have enough and are forced to overspend to get the points you need, whilst also getting points for the next potential purchase.
On one hand i'd call it future planning, but on the other hand it'd probably be a lot simpler if they just had you buy the DLC with actual dosh instead of the points.

You know, if shit hits the fan really hard developers fix their fucking game usually. People complained about shitty low res textures. Developers try to damage control and offer free high res texture pack.

If it's an editable file than it's not different from changing your config in an FPS to turn off foliage or smoke. The files should be more secure than not at all if they didn't want people tampering with them.
