Pretty good, though I think it would be better if Shepard wasn't in it.
Since it didn't exactly require acting, they would have been better off getting Vanderloo.
I only really noticed a couple of easter eggs though; the explosive container in one of the riot scenes (just before the chair goes through the window), and the husks coming out of the Aldrin Labs building.
I agree. When they try to transfer the protagonist of any videogame into live action, it never looks quite right. Skryim, had this problem, Halo 3: ODST had this problem...
I quite liked Skyrim's commercial, and ODST wasn't the main character. At least, we're not really sure. It was fairly ambiguous. But I see what you mean, they shouldn't have had Shepard in it. Any generic character could have worked. Or, at least, a helmeted Shep.
I'm playing Mass Effect 2 again and I wanted to have a romance with Miranda but everytime I go talk to her she says "There's a lot to do Shepard". Does that mean that I screwed up and now she's not available to be Shepard's relationship?

No, she just has a lot to do
I'm in the opposite boat
I don't want to
But she seems attached :C
I hate how the player character takes up like 90% of the screen.
Official, ridiculously high quality version of the Live-Action trailer.

Damn. I already did her loyalty mission, I talked to her a few times but now she only ignores me. I was trying something with Jack but then she started to act jealous because I talked with Tali.
I guess I'm terrible with women.
although TBH I never really liked Liara in ME1 I just wanted extra dialogue during LOTSB
...and now I'm going to cheat on her and fuck it all up :v

squadmembers do that occasionally, continue with recruitments and such.
Get to the conversation where Miranda starts ranting about her father again, and Shepard can pretty much bully her towards a kiss.
If nothing else, Arrival sure had some good music in it.
I can hardly remember the music from Arrival, while I still remember Overlord, Shadow Broker, and Kasumi's music. That was one of the big things that disappointed me about it, actually.
That one reaper was like "THIS BRIDGE IS GLORIOUS. I AM THE HARBINGER OF ITS DESTRUCTION."
I hate how the player character takes up like 90% of the screen.
I think the camera should be positioned looking directly into Shepard's face, and you should have to play the game entirely by looking at the reflection on his super-high-def visor.
If nothing else, Arrival sure had some good music in it.
Mass Effect DLC traditionally has unusually good music, they set the precedent with Bring Down The Sky and it only got better with Overlord, Kasumi and Shadow Broker.

Everyone is recruited. I'm pretty much with only the Reaper IFF mission and 2 DLCs missions left. And I guess I already went through that conversation (Without the kiss). >:
in that trailer Shepard used Incinerate. Pretty neat considering the default Shepard for ANYTHING is always a soldier.

There is a very simple solution to this:
fuck her then purposefully get her killed during the suicide mission
absolutely no downsides and you get laid
Apparently, every trailer must end with Shepard omni-blade stabbing a husk.

No, Miranda's sister told me not to let her die
I'm keeping a promise

It's in the manual: "How to Attract the Mainstream Audience." Page 74, addendum 2.

But of course. Right next to the entire section on gratuitous violence and ass poses.
I mean, I have no complaints. Always like a little bloodshed and sex along with my well written plot and intriguing characters.

then recruit her sister
fuck them both
and get them killed
god do I have to teach you everything?

Indeed. As I said earlier though, that trailer would have had a lot more impact if it ended on the scene of the bridge getting destroyed.
I romanced Liara in ME1, but in ME2 I'm conflicted between being loyal or romancing Tali. I like Tali a lot but I don't really want Liara mad at me I guess. On my 1st ME2 play through I didn't have the Broker DLC.

Tali is probably going to end up being the most horrible looking thing ever and it's going to be hilarious.

It wasn't the main character, but they did feature the ODST uniforms which, to me, seemed a bit off.
Despite those complaints, they were pretty good ads.

Watch her be a Star Trek style alien. I'm guessing that's the most likely event, where she's mostly human with just a weird nose or forehead or ears.

Quarian Skeletons look pretty much human, and I could've sworn the books mentioned they look basically Human facially except for weird ears.
Oh god I can't stop nitpicking that trailer. They didn't even bother to try and make it look sci-fi. I mean really, a horse running through a cobblestone street while people are looting stores? Who the hell comes to the conclusion that they should loot stores when there is hundreds of Reapers descending on your City alone? Then eventually hordes of Husks flood in to rip your face off. I like how the only upgrade to China's markets in ~170 years, is more lights
I realize it's a live action thus you can't really do much, but seriously that didn't look like Mass Effect at all.
And also the clothing are WAYYY off in all of those live action trailers.
grr

Love is more than about looks.
The trailer is just trying too hard to get the message across. Too much of everything.
