Tali is probably going to end up being the most horrible looking thing ever and it's going to be hilarious.
If you talk to Grunt at one point during ME2, he says something along the lines of "It's only a finger's depth to get to your spinal cord. Humans are soft, squishy. Humans, Salarians, Asari, all soft. Quarians, not so much. Turians... You've got to work the blade a little."
given this data, I'm thinking Quarians might have scales.
Love is more than about looks.
Exactly. It's about getting awkwardly hit on by your commanding officer.
I romanced Liara in ME1, but in ME2 I'm conflicted between being loyal or romancing Tali. I like Tali a lot but I don't really want Liara mad at me I guess. On my 1st ME2 play through I didn't have the Broker DLC.
Buh, I wanted last one playtrough Shep to stay truth to Liara. But god damn it, I like to hear the conversations with sqadmates. First accidentally clicked something along the lines of 'can i haz ur body?' to Miranda, then had to say - fuck it, we're formal. Felt just stupid, she should've lost her loyalty after that in my oppinion. Then Jack began to be all like 'FUCK ME NOW', shep ran away like a pussy. And in the end, had to fend off Tali when she started her suit-connection bullshit, and that felt like a dick move (and was strangely rewarded with renegade points, staying loyal is being a dick now? I'll remember this when I end up explaining cheating to my girlfriend).
Why I'm saying all this, while the romancing stuff in ME2 is not as straight-forward as it was in ME1, it's still annoying how conversation ALWAYS lead to 'you. in my bed. NOW', no matter what kind of stupid shit you say. My last shep is a dick to Tali and she wants to fuck him nontheless? Lazy, bioware, that's just LAZY. Romance thing in KotOR was more complicated then that, and it wasn't as much of a part of the god damn story.
The live-action trailer was "okay". Didn't wow me, could still enjoy it though.
Still excited for Mass Effect 3 though. I've got a little more than a week to beat Mass Effect 2.
Yeah, I like how the guy on the rooftop with all the snow is wearing a parka. Because you know in 2185, parka's can keep you more warm than a high tech suit that people wear in vacuums and for extremely cold surfaces on planets, *cough* Noveria *cough*. God damn I should stop, I could nitpick that trailer all night.

The romances in general can be kind of stilted, but I thought the "Wait, I can't tell under the helmet...are you blushing?" line was charming and well acted by Meer.

the VOs in ME2 were fantastic... It's more the facial animations (i.e. creepy ass smiles) that make everything unsettling.
Plus, it didn't help that my Shepard looks about 40.

Well since humans live to 150 or so in Mass Effect, 40 is like 20.

I'm going to get ME3 on release day but it might be sitting on the back burner for a while until I finish 1 and 2. I started 1 a few days ago, so this might take a while...

How could you possibly want less of this quality art?

Bit of advice: Don't even bother with the random collection quests like minerals or turian emblems as they're a complete waste of time. Scanning the Keepers isn't a bad idea though.

Only major gripe I have about the series.
Seriously, you're in a high tension situation fighting a fucking geth colossus on foot.
"no dont throw your life away stand down thats an order" is what Shepard's face is saying.
God why don't devs ever look towards LA Noire for example. I'm not expecting perfect facial fidelity, if that's even a thing, but come on. Your monotonous-looking bullshit is awful.
Still love the series though.

That's why I regret not starting earlier. My first ME1 and ME2 playthroughs were on xbox. Then I got ME1 and ME2 for $10 off steam and I decided I wanted ME3 on PC. I'm kicking myself for starting late, I mean I'm on 2 now but just started. This upcoming weekend will probably be full of all-nighters.

Yeah, thought the same thing. It was very charming and nice. The best thing of it all, that after her confused response you can say 'I should go' in usual Meer's manner.

I know, I've beaten both before. My problem is I don't remember which save had what decisions and if I even kept any saves that I wanted. And besides, it's a nice build-up to 3 and it lets me make double sure I choose the right decisions.

LA Noire was great but I honestly prefer the Uncharted series. It has just a slightly exaggerated quality and a hell of a lot of character when it comes to the animation. Granted, Uncharted is a 8-10 hour completely linear experience while Mass Effect is a couple of orders of magnitudes larger.

Oh yeah, forgot about the UC series. There's one they could do.

"Slightly" exaggerated? Drake is god damned Spiderman with guns while everything that can and even some things that can't explode, explode. But I love it.
It bugs me how you can't really talk to someone without romancing them. I wanted to get to know Jack, and help wither her shit, but I didn't want to stick it in her, so I told her, then she just got pissed and wouldn't talk to me. Women.
[editline]26th February 2012[/editline]
Also, does anyone know if you'll be able to change classes if you import to ME3?
oh and just try and imagine him talking and sounding like anyone other than Mark Meer
in fact try and imagine him sounding like Jean-Claud Van Damme
Accents aren't that big of an issue. If you watch Blackhawk Down, a lot of those actors are British. If he can pull off an American Accent, No problem. He's our man
But I'd want Kate Beckinsale to play Williams. Mainly because Beckinsale is fucking hot

You know it occurred to me that having a blade in your omnitool might not be the best idea. What if you're picking your nose and you accidentally press a button? Also if you're missing a hand does the blade turn into a hook?
These are serious questions bioware
how does omni tool dispense medi-gel (who knows)

Magic and willpower.
I think there's some things we just have to accept :v:

Why would Shepard be picking his nose
Why would Shepard be picking his nose
Mining for resources.

~mass effect fields~
In all seriousness, I imagine that the suits of armor have microinjectors that all draw from pocket(s) of omni-gel. The omni-tool monitors the wearer's health and will distribute omni-gel based on where it detects injury.
What about in Mass Effect 1? How does 1 medi-gel get to the 2 team mates? 1 mean 1 for each member?

Rage Spoiler 1 is fine. Good voice, good skill set.
BioWare Twittered Spoiler is pure unadultered wank, even beating out anders for wtf were you thinking.
