I lieterally cannot beat the Collector ship on Insanity.
Harbinger is such a motherfucker, who spawns constantly, and has this bullshit move that knocks you out of cover, and for some reason Shepard dances around out in the open begging to be shot by the twenty thousand fucking barriered Collectors, along with 2 Scions who for god knows why have decided that they are the sturdiest shit in the galaxy and 2 clips from my fucking machine gun is still not enough to down these bastards. Top that with the fact that Miranda is made of wet paper and glass, and she's convinced that running right into Harbinger is the best strategy, or that Grunt just doesn't give two shits about what I say and blindly ignores my requests for him to hide, and instead prefers to get himself killed.
Also, fuck you game. Why do I HAVE to go to the collector ship? Fuck you. I was going to go recruit Samara, a biotic who probably woulda been fucking useful. But, ooh, the Illusive Man says something and Shepard goes running.

Ben Wolfe suggested that they had developed doohickies for translating the language. I was thinking about this at work and if this Prothean was on Eden Prime, perhaps there was another beacon similar to Vigil that Shepard runs into before releasing the Prothean, and because Vigil was able to translate to English, perhaps this beacon can do the same.[/sp]
I've come so far now, not to give in. I can't. I'm about half way through, and I've got a shitton of Loyalties. I've put 11 hours into this playhrough. I am NOT pussying out. I... I just need a minute.

[sp]Well, I might be remembering it wrong but the impression I got from Vigil was that he was very quickly able to learn Shepards language essentially by listening to Shep & Co talk on their way to him. I figure an AI (EDI possibly) could figure out the Protheans language in a similar way, and then add it to the squad's translators.[/sp]
