Am I the only one who ignores /v/?
Am I the only one who ignores /v/?
/vg/ is way more civilized [editline]28th February 2012[/editline] Still it heavily depends on weekday and time.
[sp]So it seems the ending is going to be similar to Fable 2's ending.[/sp]
what the shit? So, is it gonna be a situation like [sp]you have to choose one of three species/planets/people or whatever to save?[/sp]
I don't trust either to be frank.
what the shit? So, is it gonna be a situation like [sp]you have to choose one of three species/planets/people or whatever to save?[/sp]
[sp]No, you get three choices which themselves have varying outcomes depending on galactic readiness, who your friends are, who has and hasn't died, etc.[/sp]
I've heard so much conflicting information regarding the endings that I honestly don't know who to believe about it.
I've seen some vids about it, but still can't get it - what about this Tortanic, the connection of GRORIUS MODERATU STANRY ROO, Origin, Hamburger Helper and so on?
the thing about them is that they're all terribad
[sp]I'm glad I don't know how Fable 2 ends because that would have spoiled the fuck out for me[/sp] this concerns endings

what the shit? So, is it gonna be a situation like [sp]you have to choose one of three species/planets/people or whatever to save?[/sp]
Seriously it's not a Fable 2 style ending, it's [sp]Deus Ex 1 alike.[/sp] [sp]Helios[/sp] [sp]Illuminati[/sp] [sp]Dark Ages[/sp]
/vg/ is way more civilized [editline]28th February 2012[/editline] Still it heavily depends on weekday and time.
/v/ is shit mostly and /vg/ is just massive circlejerks Both have fun stuff occasionally
Yeah, after re-reading, mercurius is right. Fable 2 was just the first thing that popped in my mind when I read it. No real correlations, except [sp]choosing choices that effect others[/sp]
It's literally [sp]Deus Ex 1's endings[/sp] These are said to be the real endings and they match the leaked script, but make sense now: http://i.imgur.com/kNXqd.png
I'm interested in this [sp]Synergy ending. It's odd how seemingly only Quarians have permanent cybernetics despite very advanced technology and the capability for full AI. Reapers obviously have the fusion of the two down, it's only a matter of figuring out how we can use their knowledge to our own gain. As long as Bioware don't go full tech heresy and make it a stupid ending just so there's more diversity. I reckon it's the thing we could easily argue over it's merit but that'll go right over Bioware's heads.[/sp]
Does anyone know if Harbinger makes an appearance in ME3?
Does anyone know if Harbinger makes an appearance in ME3?
Harbinger [sp]is (the first?) reaper and their leader. At least one of my sources states this. It feels weird, judging how Sovereign was way cooler and smarter than him.[/sp]
Harbinger [sp]is (the first?) reaper and their leader. At least one of my sources states this. It feels weird, judging how Sovereign was way cooler and smarter than him.[/sp]
[sp]Well maybe Sovereign was so cool and smart because he was basically the Reaper's only chance at getting into the universe. You gotta select the strongest guy to lift the heaviest weights. Do they ever say where the Reapers come from?[/sp]
/vg/ is just massive circlejerk
Not really it's discussion about, you know, videogames. [editline]28th February 2012[/editline]
I've heard so much conflicting information regarding the endings that I honestly don't know who to believe about it.
Yeah, I've heard there are 3 endings, 6 endings, 7 endings, 9 endings. I don't know what to believe. However, the guy from SA has apparently been 100% correct on everything.

He was probably chosen because Harbinger thought in the case of something going wrong he was resourceful enough to fix the issue. Also Sovereign doesn't appear to be the greatest leader, he did bum rush the Citadel with no apparent strategy other then to get the other Reapers there.[/sp]

If that happened the Reapers would have been able to get there because all those ships couldn't do shit to Sovereign. That was his only mistake, taking control of Saren. he bumrushed the Citadel because he knew he couldn't be beaten.[/sp]

Assuming he first showed up directly after the Protheans got wiped out, he was basically alone for a couple millenia; he may not have been such a successful operator if he wasn't so independent of other creatures.[/sp]
Harbinger [sp]is (the first?) reaper and their leader. At least one of my sources states this. Harbinger feels like a Saturday morning cartoon villian.
There's gonna be hub areas like the last two games right? The fact that they really haven't said anything about hub areas makes me wonder.
There's gonna be hub areas like the last two games right? The fact that they really haven't said anything about hub areas makes me wonder.
Yep, and if I remember correctly the Citadel hub is GIGANTIC. Larger than ME1 even.
Yep, and if I remember correctly the Citadel hub is GIGANTIC. Larger than ME1 even.
Gigantic? I wonder if the other hubs will be gigantic as well.
There's gonna be hub areas like the last two games right? The fact that they really haven't said anything about hub areas makes me wonder.
The Citadel is the only hub in ME3. Per BSN guy.
The Citadel is the only hub in ME3.
What? Why? Hopefully its size will make up for that.
Makes me wonder why the Citadel has been left alone then, I mean wouldn't the Reapers still prefer taking out galactic leadership in one blow, and crippling all transportation?
What? Why? Hopefully its size will make up for that.
Well story wise, I'm guessing it's because it's the "center" of the galaxy and the outer edges are being wiped out as the Reapers move in on the galaxy with the Citadel as the last stop?
There's gonna be hub areas like the last two games right? The fact that they really haven't said anything about hub areas makes me wonder.
What Hubs were there in ME2? Just Omega? I can't remember anything else.
Makes me wonder why the Citadel has been left alone then, I mean wouldn't the Reapers still prefer taking out galactic leadership in one blow, and crippling all transportation?
Well that's why Saren tried to get to it. To get rid of leadership and leave the races confused, but with it not being an option they can't do that.
