I read the leak about the endings and [sp]I have to admit I actually like them. They conclude the trilogy without being really cliche but people are going to be pissed that their isn't a perfect happy ending. Hey, at least now they can't really make a Mass Effect 4.[/sp]

Worth noting that for the characters modelled off actors (Joker, Samara etc.), they've been painted from photographs rather than the in-game models, and as such, look absolutely gorgeous.
knock knock!
who's there?
geth.
geth who?
why are you asking me, your geth is as good as mine.
1. It is a spoiler.
2. I'm talking in general. If you know everything about it, what's the fucking point?
Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father and he cuts his arm off. There, now you don't have to see Star Wars.
Not like it's a quiz show or anything. If you can enjoy multiple playthroughs no problem then spoilers are nothing.
Tali is obviously Italian, the Flotilla is obviously the space-mafia.
The end.

If anything the spoilers have only made me more hyped and even after going through loads of them I still don't know the story any better.
So...i've recently finished 2 runs of ME1. One with a soldier and another with an infiltrator, i unlocked the ability to use assault rifles with my infiltrator because of my soldier runthrough.
I'm wondering does this carry over to Mass Effect 2 if i import my infiltrator with the assault rifle training?
If not what would you guys recommend as far as more gun heavy, but non-soldier class?
Any class can use any gun in ME3, but you've got weight limits which also affect your power recharge time.

I see hair and Nose, Space Elves.
But literally I if they do end up looking more human then Asari I want a reason why?

Kevin Spacey gave a good response why aliens look human in K-PAX, and it has some scientific credibility.
He says something along the lines of "You know why bubbles form spheres? Because its the most efficient model a bubble can have. Sentient species are also like this and take up similar forms."
Of course that's not verbatim.

Even than, I thought the visor/mask shape only fitting a human-shape. The fact that all the place-holder quarian faces are modeled after humans, the fact that the books said they look human (besides ears) and the fact that any quarian skeleton you find looks human (Yes there is a unique quarian one) would have made it obvious.
(No I don't care that they're place-holders, they're meant to give a vague idea of how they appear :v:)

The Revelation novel pretty much says exactly this.
Just completed ME2 last night, now I'm fucking stoked for 3. Good thing it's only 7 days away!
The BBFC have published their ECI for Mass Effect 3:
MASS EFFECT 3 is a third person RPG/Shooter set in the future. It follows on from the previous instalments and continues the lead character's quest to prevent a large scale alien attack. The player can choose to play the game as an RPG, with decisions presented during dialogue exchanges, as a mixture of RPG elements and shooting sequences, or as a pure shooter with no dialogue interactions. The game was classified '15' for strong language and infrequent strong violence.
The game contains occasional uses of strong language which also appear in the subtitles if that option is enabled. The uses occur during conversation exchanges with the main character. The BBFC's Guidelines at '12A'/'12' state 'The use of strong language (for example, 'fuck') must be infrequent'. The nature of gameplay means that strong language, even if it occurs sporadically in the game, may be heard frequently if the player returns to that point or restarts the level as part of normal play progression.
The violence is generally undetailed and takes place in a futuristic setting. Gun shots cause bloody wounds and there are some images of the aftermath of violence with sight of blood on walls and under bodies. Some alien creatures explode into a mass of red chunks when shot with high impact rounds. The player can also view headshots through a sniper rifle scope.
As with the two previous editions, love scenes can be triggered by a sequence of conversation choices. Depending on what characters the player has assumed, sex can take place between humans and humanoid aliens of both sexes. The sex scenes contain no nudity and no detail of sexual activity.
:suicide:
BTW it feels so heavy to play ME2 after hours in ME3 MP as Vanguard chargenova'ing everyone. I was like "wtf is shepard a toad" when I used Charge in ME2.
The next game should be about Zaeed, all of his dialogue should somehow include the word goddamn.

Sure, on a planet with our exact environment and gravity. I doubt alien worlds have that.

Nice to put me in a little box along with you, but I played ME1 and 2 once, and I will be playing ME3SP once, and once only. I don't give rat's ass about metagaming or what if, and I have a near eidetic memory so nostalgia means diddly squat. For me the bulk of my purchase usage will be in MP.
I had a dream today, weird one. I was playing Kasumi DLC, something glitched, and she started chargenova everyone and everything. I was running FRAPS and recorded it. I wanted to upload it on youtube and also post link here, but hey, i woke up....................... Damn it.

Ah, you can kick reporter McGee off the ship. That's nice to know.

Well aren't you special. Meanwhile the rest of us will be not giving a shit about spoilers and enjoying things regardless of if they're a surprise.

The ending is most interesting.
Also new Normandy looks awesome, it's good that BioWare made an analog of Alliance merchant in SR1. Plus most areas are the same as in old Normandy SR2, so it will stay familiar.
Oh, just 6 more days to go
Contains tiny spoilers, nothing to worry about really. Here's an early review;

I don't know how much I trust the source but every review I read reassures me a little bit more. I think I'm going to pre-order.
Hey UK peoples with pre-orders from Game you better check this out http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-02-29-game-not-stocking-mass-effect-3-or-ea-games-past-ssx
It's not clear whether this affects online preorders but as the previously exclusive N7 edition is now up on both Play and Zavvi (and allegedly will be on Amazon and ShoptoNet later) it seems likely you might need to re-order
i think playing the game is a much different experience then reading text and looking at pictures
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAY
Well, that kinda bites for people who pre-ordered from Game.

this review screams dodgey to me
he used literally nothing but footage from other videos already on the web
and all his other videos have like 12 views, how could this guy get an early copy

You can only get refunded with in-store credit? I think people would rather have a cash refund, so they don't have to buy the game again.
Well, that kinda bites for people who pre-ordered from Game.
In some way it has worked out better the N7 edition is £5 cheaper at zavvi and I had a 10% discount so really it has saved me a £10 but hope everyone who had ordered the Collectors manages to replace an order.
Guess Game paying extra for exclusive content didn't do them any good in the end

Probably only relevant with in store purchases (does anyone use those?) they don't take anything till shipping with online orders, I think it's down to their cashflow problems they may literally not have the money to refund people
