That video ruined the fact that [sp]the presidium[/sp] gets under attack by Cerberus.
Yeah I wasn't too impressed with IGN when I saw the area where they were fighting in.
Why would you even want the points? GAME are one of the worst retailers both online and on the highstreet: their prices are generally higher than everyone else; their delivery service never gets games to you on release day anymore; and shit like this is becoming an increasingly common occurrence.
True, but they're better than nothing
Did anyone notice the new "Enemies everywhere" will be a Cerberus guy saying constantly:
"Taking casualties!"
Cannot unhear after playing MP and SP.
When playing Infiltrator: "TARGET HAS CLOAKED" (since I cloak between every shot).
The Cerberus voices sound cooler though so it's not as annoying as the ME1 shouts.
Ordered from Play.com (Sorry for all the guys that got screwed by this, but I'll be damned if I'm passing a chance to get collectors)
Now to ring EA and cancel my digital deluxe.
Nice to see EA actually bother to keep us informed for once. It took them a while to provide info about the pre-orders when it was first announced.
If i cancel my online GAME pre-order myself, will they not give me the reward points?
Judging Google Finance and Wall Street Journal they rather care about their money.
You don't just lose -33% stock market value in four months for no apparent reason.
@Jackald:
Whilst there are certain quantum phenomena that allow fast than light events, information however cannot travel FTL at any given point in the real world. That's why the QTE communicator at the Normandy won't work. Please no technobabble about physics though.
Makes me think, in the world of Mass Effect do they think of all that incredibly advanced technology as casually as we do with ours?
Haptic operators have magnetic weights in their hands/finger tips. I'm pretty sure they see it as really casual.

Better than losing 15% stock market value in 4 hours.

I would very much like to see the back of GAME. They've been going down hill over the past year and today they finally fell off the cliff with this debacle. For the sake of people's job I hope they taken over by another company who actually does a good job.

Well, I just finished my last Mass Effect [2] game before Mass Effect 3's release. Mission accomplished for my xenophobe Shepard. Only humans survived. :v:
For the most part is was a pretty standard renegade play through. There is definitely a lot more interaction with aliens than with humans- which meant more of me being an asshole. I did find it strange how for the most part Garrus still acted like he knew me and respected me despite me never having him on my crew (and Dr. Chloe Michel still sent her message regarding me working with Garrus- I didn't meet Garrus in the med clinic at all in Mass Effect) but at least he never said things like "Just like old times" or "When going after Saren..."; and Tali trusting me despite me never really garnering her trust in Mass Effect (or so it seemed). And unfortunately you cannot be one hundred percent pro-Cerberus, but oh well, I was mostly for them.
As for some of the decisions I made and what not, I will try keeping it brief: I exposed Tali's father at her trial and she gets... emotional which meant I royally fucked up the quarian fleet (her trust in Shepard made it all the sweeter); I killed Samara for Morinth (betraying aliens is something xenophobe Shep does best); I let Mordin kill Maelon and destroyed Maelon's cure; I let Garrus kill Sidonis; I sold Legion to Cerberus (xenophobe Shep is a strong independent human who don't need no geth perspective); I never did Grunt's loyalty mission (a tank bred creature- let alone a krogan one- deserves to die in a pit alone... according to xenophobe Shep); I killed Jorum Taleed in Thane's loyalty mission (not sure if that means anything for Mass Effect 3 but it was nice to kill another racist turian politician); I romanced Jack; and finally I spared the Collector Base.
As for the Suicide Mission, it went exactly according to plan; and strangely, it felt like just about everyone died in seemingly ironic ways. I never upgraded the ship beyond the new armored plating so Garrus was incinerated due to an uncalibrated drive core and Thane* was impaled through the chest after our duel with the Collector vessel. Mordin's genius- if not insane- cranium was not powerful enough to deflect a direct biotic hit from Harbinger following his journey through the vents. Despite being a living tank, someone as big as Grunt is no match for the size of a seeker swarm (tiny bugs take down big dinosaur- classic). Morinth got a belly full of bullet... which because of her genetic disorder she can never have children? (Okay, no real irony with her death, but whatever). In the end, with Jack escorting the surviving humans back to the ship and Miranda and Jacob coming with me to the Human-Reaper, that just left Tali. Ah, Tali. So eager to prove herself and willing to throw her life away at impossible causes. She got exactly what she desired as she died holding off the Collectors by herself ("Shepard, there's too many," she says trying to stay alive "I can't do this. You have to get us (us?) out of here").
*To be honest, I was willing to spare one alien. Although, Claude "xenophobe" Shepard does not care for quarians, krogans, or the Council Races, that meant the best candidate to spare was the drell Thane. Plus, after doing his loyalty mission I thought it would be nice to know I have a skilled bodyguard at my back even if he is an alien. Unfortunately, his death was out of Shepard's control (but not completely out of my hands muhahaha). Nonetheless, he joined the other xeno scumbags in space and whatever hell they go to.
In a deliciously sadistic way, this was one of the more fun Shepards I have played as. Screwing up the galaxy and betraying, killing, or being plain mean to all aliens was a delight. Mass Effect 3 should prove to be even more fun now that I get to choose the fate of entire species.
Fuck, wall of text.

Well, I guess it's time to...

See you guys in a few weeks.
I'm still debating whether to get ME2 for PS3. I just dont want to miss out on Conrad and other ME1 tidbits, but my laptop could barely run the me3 demo and forget getting a 360 again.
We only go to its moon and not the planet itself? Damn.
Well Palaven is in the middle of being glassed, it's not exactly safe to get anywhere near that.
Still not as bad as [sp]Thessia[/sp] though.
text here
I think that's a beautiful playthrough. I'm gonna try it.
Hey UK peoples with pre-orders from Game you better check this out http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-02-29-game-not-stocking-mass-effect-3-or-ea-games-past-ssx
It's not clear whether this affects online preorders but as the previously exclusive N7 edition is now up on both Play and Zavvi (and allegedly will be on Amazon and ShoptoNet later) it seems likely you might need to re-order
I'm so going to prevent that.

Pretty sure its more complicated than that.

The [sp]Nemesis[/sp] is a robot? I thought it was a [sp]woman in a stealth suit or something, since her head does sorta explode into meaty chunks when you shoot it.[/sp]

According to what I've got from reading the leaked script it's [sp]an android version of Eva Core, TIM's long lost love and partner from the comics. [sp]It sounds awfully mechanical. More so than the other Cerberus troops. I could be wrong, though. None the less she uploads her memory to some Cerberus robot body.[/sp]

[sp]Ah yes, I remember reading that in the leaked script. I kept reading it as 'Eva Core' without the accented 'E'. I was like '...the fuck fuck is an Eva Core?'[/sp]
Really annoyed by the whole GAME thing - I've now ordered it from Amazon, but it means I won't be playing it on release day. Fucking economy
Addition to my last post: [sp]I simply can't get over the fact that her hair fits like a metal bucket over her hair and is solid as steel. Yeah sure, that infiltration unit sure did go deep cover by looking like a walking tin can. Other than that I think sexbot EDI might be hilarious and entertaining. If EA has any sense the files will be encrypted on the disk, and can only be unlocked on release day. See: Steam encryption.
