So with regards to the ending. [sp]How do the planets even survive the relays exploding? In Arrival it wiped out a whole solar system, and every relay blows up here.[/sp]
Mass Effect fie------wait, that doesn't work anymore. Hell if I know.
copyrite dog 2012 dto not steal
V:v:V
Hopefully the character creation makes our Shepard looks more better, seeing as the demo creation make females look like shit. Or I over did it.

God damn Moon Over June.
This is utter bullshit. I can't believe after all the shit we were put through we get complete bullshit endings that completely undermine everything we've done in previous games.
You should spoiler that. And yeah, I can believe it. That cutscene reveals at least one ending to the game, and it looks depressing as all hell. There are 7 endings though, with 3 "primary" differences.
7 endings? There's a chance I'll like one!

The Normandy: cables and dangly things everywhere

TOTALLY. :suicide:
So with regards to the ending. [sp]How do the planets even survive the relays exploding? In Arrival it wiped out a whole solar system, and every relay blows up here.[/sp]
Should we really be surprised by more plot holes?
So with regards to the ending. [sp]How do the planets even survive the relays exploding? [/sp]
I think I can sort of understand where Bioware is coming from with the endings (note: I have not read the leaks, seen the endings, etc. I'm just going by the unspoilered discussion here so I don't know just how deeply the universe gets raped by the reapers), but I think it stems from Shepard's quote "No matter what you do, you can't save them all." So what Bioware was trying to go for was that no matter what choices you made, no matter how much you prepare, you'll still face devastating losses. Realistically, if there's an against all odds sort of war against a force more advanced and more organized than you, what do you think is going to happen? Best case scenario you'd be able to fight a war of attrition and make them pull back, but both sides would be severely weakened, and your side would face much higher losses in both troop and civilian casualties (such as the NVA in the Vietnam War, Afghanistan when fighting Russia, etc. NOTE: I'm just trying to draw on real conflicts to make a point about how a hypothetical war like those would end, I'm not literally comparing the war against the reapers to Vietnam or Afghanistan.) If this was any other game or media series, if there was a happy ending where everything turns out fine, even under such disadvantages, I'd probably be annoyed. (Ex. The Inheritance Cycle climax tied up way too nicely, with the main protagonists taking minimal losses and pretty much all of them ending up better off than before the war. It felt like a massive cop out just to keep fans happy (in the end it still didn't)). But from what I can tell, after two games being hyped up with player choice meaning so much to the story, just to lose control of where its going in the final stretch would piss people off. And I can understand that. And like I said, I don't actually know the endings, for all I know even the best one has like everyone dead. I'm just going to play the game when I can, and then come up with my own opinion.
Guessing ME3 is going to be more romantic then ever, when we got Wrex falling for the Krogan Princess. I wonder how much fast sex talking Mordin is going with his race?
Should we really be surprised by more plot holes?
[sp]The chekhov ex machina super weapon drains the relays (which is an outright lie, the explosions are even bigger than the one in Arrival)[/sp]
[sp] Arrival was hit with an asteroid, these ones were self destructed, it's liable they have some kind of self-destruct feature. [/sp]
[sp]The relay channeled a massive amount of energy just before it blew up, probably all of its energy so thats why it didn't have a massive meltdown like the Alpha relay which didn't[/sp]
man I'm working finally finishing up DA: Origins and after ME3 I think I'm gonna be burnt out on Bioware RPGs for a while.
I'm betting most of these endings are bittersweet. [sp]The Council walk up to the stairs as a reaper attacks the citadel, the Turian states "Ah Yes Reapers" and thus the Reapers vanish into nothing[/sp]
[sp] Arrival was hit with an asteroid, these ones were self destructed, it's liable they have some kind of self-destruct feature. [/sp]
[sp] Considering the video I saw for one of the endings, it looks like that "self destruct" does a lot more damage than you think. [/sp]
What's up with the spoilers? Did someone leak the game?
So the War Assets chart for the ME3 ending has been leaked/updated. Substantial spoilers here, but the highlighted area is pretty damn interesting, though I'm not sure it means anything remotely important. Take a look.
Yes and NDA's were also broken and the main progression script has been around forever.
[sp] What I hate the most about it is simply every choice I've made for my characters didn't mean anything in the end. At least it makes life for the Shepard that has nearly everyone die easier. [/sp]
It still surprises me that for all the supposed money grabbing EA has done they've yet to make endings or achievements exclusive to those who bought previous installments of the series. Also why did they get rid of Karpyshyn? Replacing him with Mac Walters is personally the single worst decision they did for the development of the Mass Effect series.
Drew was assigned to work on SW:TOR; hence Mac Walters.
I was wondering, you guys think that there might have been any aliens in Earth after the ending or when the reapers started their attack on the planet?
The more I read about ME3 the more pissed off I get I can understand not wanting to have a happy ending, that's fine but Bioware seems to have painted themselves into a corner here.
Drew was assigned to work on SW:TOR; hence Mac Walters.
And he has now left the company altogether
I was wondering, you guys think that there might have been any aliens in Earth after the ending or when the reapers started their attack on the planet?
I think there would be other races living on Earth but a very, very small minority.
And he has now left the company altogether
I still wish I could play or see a draft of how his ME would tie things together.
i thought the entire mass effect trilogy was outlined by drew before 1 was even released?
Drew was assigned to work on SW:TOR; hence Mac Walters.
And look at how well that turned out.
