It's not the same ending, it's 7 endings which just happen to have the exact same result.
From a personal opinion, I was expecting the following types:
- A 'total mission failure' ending. Reapers win. The cycle continues.
- A handful of moderate-to-quite good endings.
- A semi-hidden, "ending S" conclusion, like for example, Max Payne 2.
I've personally not read the ending spoilers, but from my understanding, we don't really get those...

One of my radical guesses is that Cerberus will use that Reaper technology after Shepard defeats the reapers and Cerberus will be the new reapers. Or the human race.
That would be super scary and cool.

MW3 is actually 21€/$28 cheaper.
For the price difference I could buy any Valve game or Alan Wake or the new Assassins Creed game.
Hell for the same price as Mass Effect 3 or SWtoR I could get Assassins Creed Revelations + Alan Wake + Portal 2 + Left 4 Dead 2 + Counter Strike: Source.
