I'm guessing every character you can romance has a version of them just in their underwear this time? If so, I can't wait to see Liara. :v: Hopefully it will be somewhat as good ME1's romance scene where they don't just hug and kiss.
"Everything has been building to this. It's like the Superbowl. Who cares what happened in the regular season? Now's the one that matters." --Aaryn Flynn, BioWare Edmonton general manager, refering to ME3.
That's not how gamers work, honey.
Anyone else notice they even have the same moles? :v:
holy shit cancel preorder, they have the same models? whoops
"sex scenes like Me2 except in underwares not awkward dressed up sex" -BSN poster quote of the fucking year [editline]2nd March 2012[/editline] everyone on BSN is so desperate to get full nudie Sex scenes that's so completely unnecessary, those scenes aren't for sexual gratification they're more romantic than anything (Garrus' is sweet :3)
Referencing a game that's over 5 years old doesn't really help your case
I fucking hate it when games use the same Models for every Character, it ruins the whole game for me only shitty games would do that [editline]2nd March 2012[/editline] http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/323/index/9567053 No comments.
holy shit cancel preorder, they have the same models? whoops
That's a terrible comparison. Even if Half life 2 was being released now, you're comparing nameless NPC models to the main frickin character.
You guys fucking NITPICK OVER EVERY GODDAMN THING. "Femshep looks weird naked; FUCK YOU BIOWARE!" "Maleshep and Cortez have the same bodies! FUCK YOU BIOWARE, HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO US?" "Day one DLC? BIOWARE YOU HITLER LOVING SCUMBAGS!" "Promotional DLC? YOU'VE SOLD YOUR SOUL TO THE DEVIL, BIOWARE" Shut.The.
FUCK
up already.
Referencing a game that's over 5 years old doesn't really help your case
ok
You guys fucking NITPICK OVER EVERY GODDAMN THING.
And you support Bioware's every bowel movement, we have to have an equalizer Susan.
seriously none of you have played the game but you'll all acting like it's Hitler and the devils aborted lovechild [editline]2nd March 2012[/editline]
And you support Bioware's every bowel movement, we have to have an equalizer Susan.
I don't agree with a few things. I still think the endings seem awful. But I'm saiyan, you guys are getting up in arms about things that are meaningless. [editline]2nd March 2012[/editline] I'm just really sick of everyone being so fucking dramatic about this. BSN is literally NOTHING but "bioware are teh devils" and "how 2 cancel pre-orerders?"
I found that MaleShep gay romance video awkward mostly because I always imagined Shepard as a straight person but also because the survival of the galaxy is in danger and yet we see people dancing in a night club with the saviour there, too. Plus only two options in conversation.
People are complaining because they have a reason to. Some of those reasons are bullshit, many of those reasons are legitimate. If you can't handle the criticism Bioware is going to take, I suggest you leave this thread now. Once the game is fully released and the extent of the plot is completely known to all, this thread is going to be shit storm central.
Can I just comment on how unbelievably awkward the dialogue is?
Bioware seems to be a bit schizophrenic with their dialogue. There's a website (which I need to find again) that has a ton of leaked dialogue from ME3 from almost all the main characters, and every single line is absolute gold. And then we get stuff like that romance.

I'm just saying a lot of critiques are just nitpicky.
Oh, I'm so aware this place'll be shitstorm central. I'm just saying a lot of critiques are just nitpicky.
Some of them are, yeah. Bioware fans (more specifically the BSN group) have been known to overreact at the slightest provocation. Most of the people here seem a bit more level-headed, with a decent balance between optimism and pessimism/realism. The water in Vancouver is a bit of an nitpick (though it does look pretty bad). Complaining about what we know of the endings is a valid criticism.

No-one cares if it's all complaining, negative vibes aren't hurting anyone, complaining for no reason isn't any kind of serious criticism, and we certainly aren't getting worked up over it. You know, for the idea of the middle ground of rationality, you really aren't helping. Exclusionary "WHY ARE YOU GUYS COMPLAINING, IT'S NOT THAT BAD, STOP BEING MAD", it's the same shit on the opposite end.
Weren't you one of the bigger voices throughout this whole thread with the whole ''FUCK YOU BIOWARE!'' on every other page?
I'm only pissed about the endings, really. Other stuff I'm okay with.
I'm guessing a true Good ending happens if you try and do the best outcome choices, like even ones you did in 1 & 2
seriously none of you have played the game [editline]2nd March 2012[/editline]
Wrong.
I'm guessing a true Good ending happens if you try and do the best outcome choices, like even ones you did in 1 & 2
You haven't been with the discussion over the last couple days, have you? If what we know is all true, then there is no truly "good" ending. There's just a range of dark to ultradark.

Oh, and the decisions from the first 2 don't seem to have too much effect.
I'm guessing a true Good ending happens if you try and do the best outcome choices, like even ones you did in 1 & 2
You really wanna know? [sp]The Relays will always be destroyed, there is no good ending and this is inevitable. You can have the ultra-Paragon option and Shep lives, but it can be achieved through "Galactic readiness" and this can be increased easily, even by multiplayer. Your choices in the previous games have an impact, but it is miniscule.[/sp] [editline]2nd March 2012[/editline]
I will go have a sook. what is a sook.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sook

I don't quite understand still but I'll do my best On another topic... is it really impossible to [sp]save the relays? Are they destroyed in EVERY ending? Guess all that talk about more Mass Effect games is kinda impossible...[/sp] [editline]2nd March 2012[/editline] I'm begininning to wonder if backlash like this will have an affect on DLC remember Fallout 3, how everyone bitched so hard because of how bad the ending sucked, then they DLC retconned it? I'm wondering if that might happen here.
oh, okay. I don't quite understand still but I'll do my best On another topic... is it really impossible to [sp]save the relays? Are they destroyed in EVERY ending? Guess all that talk about more Mass Effect games is kinda impossible...[/sp]

[sp]It's been said they plan on doing an MMO so this is a good way to ensure that the endings are fairly uniform, that the Universe is wiped clean, and ensures a gap between these games and the MMO so they can reset the world and explain away any plot holes. They'll come up with another way of travelling the stars and the galaxy will be somewhat unified again, but it'll take a while. In the mean time they can let Helper come up with all kinds of new cannon with no restrictions because ambiguous ending lol.[/sp]
Best theory I can come up with. And yes, it's inevitable.

Some people are speculating that there's perhaps some locked away content or a hidden ending, but none of us will no for sure until the game is out.[/sp]
Just adding my two cents to the BioWare romance debate; currently played my way through Dragon Age. Getting to know my party at the campsite. Next thing I know, I'm inside Morrigan and everyone's commenting on it. I'm pretty sure picking the "A pretty mirror for a pretty woman" dialogue option shouldn't lock me into a dialogue tree from which there's no escape except romance...
