Ummm... look at what Shepard shoots at 0:46. It's kinda hard to pause at as it pops up for maybe two frames.[sp]I'm assuming EDI goes rogue?[/sp] Here's a picture if it's too difficult to pause at for you. http://i.imgur.com/FPF6c.png
[sp]That's most likely on Mars where they first acquire the robot that EDI eventually assumes control of. [/sp]
i really want to play some MP with you guys when the games out, we should really add each other. if any of you guys want to my origin name is killergumybear4.
[sp]That's most likely on Mars where they first acquire the robot that EDI eventually assumes control of. [/sp]
That or Bioware is using the same model for multiple NPCs (which wouldn't surprise me).
i preloaded the game and some of these pre-rendered videos are sweet [sp]Apparently if you fuck up in London Big Ben gets destroyed[/sp]
Also [sp]Captain Anderson walks at a thing and shoots it, there are huge space battles, and you can do something that kills all the Reapers in London[/sp]
I want to know more about the races that lived before the Protheans. And who created the reapers, but I assume at least that's answered in ME3.

Anyone care to elaborate on whats about to happen here? Spoilers or no spoilers.
Anyone care to elaborate on whats about to happen here? Spoilers or no spoilers.
Sex
If nothing else, every review/preview I've seen has been unanimous on this point: Your questions will be answered, and the ending is "definitive."
Some of them aren't answered very well. [sp]reapers = every animu sci fi villain ever "we're murdering you to save you, STOP RESISTING SIR STOP STOP RESISTING WHACK WHACK[/sp]
Anyone care to elaborate on whats about to happen here? Spoilers or no spoilers.
liara has a touching scene with her mother who is back from her vacation of being dead
Some of them aren't answered very well. [sp]reapers = every animu sci fi villain ever "we're murdering you to save you, STOP RESISTING SIR STOP STOP RESISTING WHACK WHACK[/sp]
[sp]I'm actually fine with villains like that but the Reaper's motivations for "saving" you are pretty lame to be honest. Revelation Space did the "machine race killing you to save you" thing much better, they don't even wipe species to extinction, just contain it on their homeworld for easier categorizing and shifting of star systems when the time for the Andromeda-Milky Way collision comes in about five billion years.[/sp]
I just played the ME3 demo on the PS3, first time I've ever had to do anything with ME.It was good so now I'm wondering if I should buy ME1, ME2 and then ME3 or can I jump right into ME3?Or perhaps ME2, seems pretty cool too
Just go for ME2, the first one isn't on the PS3
Anyone else feel like Shepard's lines of dialogue chosen for the launch trailer feel really silly? "Go to hell" is such a terrible retort and the "you're already dead" speech sounds pretty funny even though I get what it means.
This had me lol'ing for awhile. :quagmire:

Ah, a candidate for the action mode I see.
Will unlocking ME3 with a VPN early even work? I remember back with the staggered releases for BF3 Origin would just refuse to connect if you used a VPN.
Will unlocking ME3 with a VPN early even work? I remember back with the staggered releases for BF3 Origin would just refuse to connect if you used a VPN.
Probably not; I'd imagine it's been tried with the DDE leak by now.
Probably not; I'd imagine it's been tried with the DDE leak by now.
I mean tricking Origin into thinking us UK/Europeans are in America so we can play on the 6th instead of the 9th.
I mean tricking Origin into thinking us UK/Europeans are in America so we can play on the 6th instead of the 9th.
Oh that? God, sorry, I completely misread your post. Blame lack of sleep. Maybe, but if it didn't work for BF3, don't expect it to work for ME3.
Anyone else feel like Shepard's lines of dialogue chosen for the launch trailer feel really silly? "Go to hell" is such a terrible retort and the "you're already dead" speech sounds pretty funny even though I get what it means.
Well, you can't exactly say "Go FUCK yourself" on a public, PG-13 rated trailer now can we?
Well, you can't exactly say "Go FUCK yourself" on a public, PG-13 rated trailer now can we?
Although ironically, you can show the brutal murder...of the dialogue.
Although ironically, you can show the brutal murder...of the dialogue.
Eh, no cheesier than ME2's launch trailer. Gotta make it appeal to the general audience, and sophisticated dialogue apparently doesn't sell as well as cliched dialogue.
That 'Mass Effect 3 - Now Playing' video was made private. What was shepard really shocked at?
Eh, no cheesier than ME2's launch trailer. Gotta make it appeal to the general audience, and sophisticated dialogue apparently doesn't sell as well as cliched dialogue.
I suppose. Still, at least it was better than "We fight or we die, that's the plan". Which is both cheesy, and doesn't really make sense... And it's worryingly similar to the Game of Thrones tagline.
did anyone record the palaven video?
That or Bioware is using the same model for multiple NPCs (which wouldn't surprise me).
well of course, its a robot of the same model, of course it would look the same.
The trailer made me double pumped for Tuesday.
Wild spoilers inbound (take it for what it's worth because it's from the strategy guide) [sp]Apparently Miranda can only survive if you romanced her [/sp] I'd say this is too stupid to be true, but...
I can't remember the last time I was this pumped for a game. This journey will be intense. Welp, back to doing Jacob's loyalty mission.
