[editline]3rd March 2012[/editline]
Stop posting screenshots of cutscenes.
Nah you just get it 3 hours early because timezones. Comes out 2 hours earlier for me.
Here's a nugget from BSN (Xoisite is the guy with the space copy of the game)
Xoisite also explained that the majority of the dialogue on the Normandy was autodialogue, skewed towards Paragon or Renegade depending on which you had more of.
He specifically said the conversations were pretty much the same as Zaeed and Kasumi's in execution.
For instance, Ash only had one conversation in the whole game where the Dialogue Wheel was used, and that was so you could ask her in one of three ways if she were drunk, to which she apparently replied with unitelligable slurring and gurgles.
I take back what I said about my problem with non-squadmates/cameo characters. Being a squadmate sounds pretty useless if you can't have any meaningful interaction with them.
Well that really sucks.
Why are they doing that? Having a character just standing around in one place while you can run in circles while talking with them just seems so stupid.
Just finished ME2 (with an import from ME1 of course) now all I have to do is wait for ME3's release.

Smack fucking midnight on the 9th.
Your release date will be: 05 March 2012, 15:00
I'm from the UK, Jelly?
Anyway, this is how you unlock the game early on Origin (For those who haven't done it before)
1. Download FlyVPN
2. Get the Free trial username and password from here: http://www.flyvpn.com/freetrial
3. Log in to Origin under your NORMAL IP. This is important.
4. When Origin is loaded up go to your VPN and connect, pick the Asia tab at the top and pick Hong Kong
5. Click play on Mass Effect 3, it'll do the date and time check
6. When it's activated disconnect from the VPN
7. Exit Origin and turn it back on again
8. Enjoy the game before nearly everyone else.
Players from the USA should be activating the game 16 hours before others, and people from the UK/Europe will be getting it 4 days before hand.
so players in the US can actually start playing on sunday with a VPN?

Assuming this is all true, how on earth could Bioware think removing the best aspect of the series would be a good idea?
so players in the US can actually start playing on sunday with a VPN?
I don't think it's Sunday, it's 3pm for me on Monday, and you're 5-6 hours behind, so it should be about 9-10am on Monday for people from the US.

Let's hope it isn't, talking with my squadmates after every mission was one of my favorite things to do.

The conversation wheel is half of what this series sells itself on. Again, if this is all true and the dialogue wheel has been cut to pieces or trivialized in favor of auto-dialog...Bioware might be in for some scathing reviews.

Wow, good thing I didn't preorder, because I no longer want this game AT ALL. Fuck you EA. Fuck you.
Might be against.. ToS..

I've done it with both Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3, and nothing has happened to my account, or any of the other god knows how many people who did it.
I wouldn't worry.

Never know.
So.. in PST. When am I able to play?..
Wow, good thing I didn't preorder, because I no longer want this game AT ALL. Fuck you EA. Fuck you.
Launch Day will be a popcorn fest, regardless of the outcome.
Never know.

Not sure.
This is the schedule.
https://help.ea.com/article/mass-effect-3-release-schedule?showhome=true
PST the current time according to google is 8:25pm Friday
The current time in KST is 1:25pm Saturday, I think that's 17 hours difference.
The game activates at 12am KST on Tuesday, so by my guesstimate it's 7am Monday morning.
All of these are done from my head and it's 4:30am for me, so i'm probably wrong, but you can see where I'm going with it.
WAAAAAIT A MINUTE
Did that motherfucker choose the option that streamlined dialogue, or is it like that for the Roleplaying choice to? I feel like that's a critical piece of information that I haven't acquired.

I honestly don't know; there seems to be a lot of conflicting info out there. However, I watched a Gamespot stream earlier today. The option was set at "Full Conversation" yet Shepard spoke 70% of the dialogue without any input from the player.
Also, I'm going to trust you guys aren't idiots or fanboys and am asking this honestly: how bad IS Origin? I've been vehemently hating it since it seemed so stupid at the time, but the idea of downloading it is slowly becoming less stupid in my mind.
Is there anywhere to watch that video? the youtube link that was posted in here is private

It's a pretty good program honestly

I've had no trouble with Origin. Very stable.

Origin can actually scan your PC to see if you have pirated software on it, so it can scan through things without your consent. The program itself isn't _That_ bad, but it's not as good as Steam is, and people are annoyed that you have to have it to play certain games.

Really?
Well, great.
The 'full conversations' option is separate from the Action/RPG/Story mode if I recall correctly.
[editline]unless[/editline]
Unless, you know, they're the same thing.

Easy way to check! *opens demo*
Well, I finally did it. I pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe version. I've heard many things about what I might see in the game, both good and bad. I cannot deny that some of these things unnerve me.
But I'm putting all that aside. I'm going to finish the series I started playing back in '07. Bring on whatever 'bad endings', strange story details, or what other crap people have been going on about, I will go and experience them and decide on the merits of this game for myself.
Easy way to check! *opens demo*
I don't know, There were some parts in the demo that really looked like something happened and just skipped it
