Jesus fucking christ, why did I press that spoiler tag. God I'm stupid.
Ditto - FUCK >.<
Pretty sure that citadel image is fake. Look how tiny the reapers are. Compare them to how big Sovereign was.
But it's moon? [editline]2nd February 2012[/editline] At least looks like it [editline]2nd February 2012[/editline] I mean, why else would Terra be there?
Why would that be the Moon? In ME1 the Moon looks...much like it does today. In that picture, it has trees and possibly local flora and fauna. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that its just fanart and has no particular setting. Unless I'm missing a crucial detail and the moon has since been civilized.... [editline]1st February 2012[/editline] But what are the odds of that?
-snip- Fixed it.
The Endings are literally: [sp]Dark Age Ending.[/sp] [sp]Illuminati Ending.[/sp] [sp]Helios Ending.[/sp]
You forgot one more; [sp]Secret Dance Party Ending that takes place all over the galaxy (Omega, Citadel, Thessia, Rannoch, Palaven, Illium, Ilos, Tuchanka, Earth, basically everywhere). Accessed via secret code adjustment then type "danceparty" during the credits.[/sp] [sp]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM4yzgITg5c[/sp]

let's hope we can smack a bitch.
I just think that Freddie Prinze, Jr. shouldn't have a career.
I was going to say "Where the hell do you live, that's 11 times worse than our lines in Germany", but then I saw an Australian flag. Retail release was too expensive? Though there are at least 20 cities in our country with super-speed FTTH/FTTB with reasonable prices, they won't upgrade our darn city. People have 200 Mbit just a few kilometers away and 1 Gbit is planned. I only have I have 5 Mbit down and 0.55 Mbit up, but I guess I should be thankful.
1. New Zealand flag. 2. First ME, was $5 on Steam, traded coal for it anyway. 3. Got speeds up to 500 kb/s by switching servers a few times (Well, our internet is still utter shit, no deny that), all done now, about to start as a Vanguard.
New Zealand flag
Okay the stars are red but my point stands, our countries are dinosaurs. i still have to beat the second one
i still have to beat the second one
Mass effect 2. Otherwise known as gather people and blow two big space things up.

>Save everyone "INSUFFICIENT PARAGON!" >Kill everyone "INSUFFICIENT RENEGADE!" ....fucking middle ground
Anyone notice that for some reason, you can hear your environment while on the Moon in ME1?
More leaked [sp]prothean[/sp] squadmate art: >> http://i.imgur.com/TVleQ.jpg
I actually kinda like this. I mean, I'm a tad disappointed its not like [sp]the protheans we have seen in the past[/sp], but still, I like it.
I had plenty of Paragon points by the time Jack threw a hissy fit towards Miranda, so the fuse was cut short, so to speak. Easily managed to get Tali and Legion to reconcile too. I wonder if it had anything to do with being an Earthborn War Hero and completing plenty of quests beforehand. Also do bits of your Paragade score carry over from an ME1 save? I also like the look of new secret squaddie; [sp]he looks a bit like a Protoss space samurai with the face and the armour design,[/sp] which is a plus in my books since the [sp]Protoss[/sp] are [sp]Pro-BOSS[/sp].

It was a very fun distraction

I don't see why you can't have a story that advances both the plot and development for characters. Except they wanted it to be easily accessible for new players.

Ultraparagon, minus some asskicking, Krogan headbutting and merc shooting ftw.
Except they wanted it to be easily accessible for new players.
Copout. OH NO I CAN'T BUY THE OLD GAME WHICH IS CHEAPER AND EVEN EASIER TO RUN ON MY GAME SYSTEM. Pretty much the most strawman argument ever. Coddling is why resources are being wasted in the first place. If a player comes in late, that's their choice and responsibility to catch up, and has never been the purview of a dev or publisher, especially in a story driven environment. Who knows how much resources were wasted on three's handholding features. Meanwhile Skyrim and Witcher2 sold hand over fucking foot, with only a simple introduction and gameplay section.

I hope it won't have a bad effect.
Won't know til ya import. *shrug* But it always seemed odd to me that players who were FUCK YEAH STORY WITH CONSEQUENCES then edited their profiles so there were no consequences, and you could literally break what little consequences there actually was. Seems hypocritical to me.

Seems hypocritical to me.
Something these games could benefit from is a "first time playthrough" feature, where, since you need to login anyway to play, it would track your first playthrough with that account and keep a backup of that ending save so it can be automatically imported into the next game. While it would still be possible to do later playthroughs with altering decisions, at least you get to see the actual consequences.
Copout. That's just the only way I can comprehend why they'd do something like that, because otherwise it is a waste of time and money. And speaking of money, I'd figure it would be better spent crafting a better sequel than making sure it sells well, but that kind of thinking must not get you anywhere in the game industry. (Or with EA Games.)

They literally just dump you in a open world and shove you in a vague direction.
Bethesda are always pretty skimpy on the story though. They literally just dump you in a open world and shove you in a vague direction.
I think he's referencing how The Elder Scrolls is basically the Tolkien of videogame history, backstory and mythos.
True. Neither method is "right", but BW's approach just seems dictated from a meeting somewhere and then cludged into iteration until we have this thing presently. As someone already invested, I don't see how all this crap on the FINAL iteration of the game is going to create "franchise fans" unless they are working another game in the universe right now for launch in a year or two. This is the kinda shit that happens when you're too insulated.

After that though you already know what's going to happen and you will tailor the experience to what you want. Removing an annoying system to facilitate that is fine IMO.
The only RPG I've played where being good wasn't inherently better would be Planescape: Torment
Wait, why do the streets on the Citadel look like Paris?
i thought that was luna, not the citadel. if you visit it in either on of the games it says that it has a population in the millions so i wouldn't be surprised if their are cities on there.

personally I think having [sp]the last surviving member of an ancient alien race[/sp] as a squadmate is pretty stupid, surely you'd be [sp]keeping them much more protected?[/sp]
