Man, imagine all the BioWare lovers who are so hyped and pumped up about the game and are buying those retarded action figures and what not, when they finish the game. They'll raid BioWare and loot it :v:
This guy explains things really well. Try and defend this ending.
try and make me think i need to justify having an opinion!! owned...
try and make me think i need to justify having an opinion!! owned...
Explain why you even like this ending I still think you're just being contrary for the sake of arguments.
I'm sorry but I think this whole thing is hillarious. Ending included. To be honest I'll still be getting the game because it's fun and the multiplayer is pretty good. But still, damn.
I'm seeing more and more people compare this to Deus Ex. And then I remember. "Damn, Deus ex was fucking good. And it had good endings." Because Deus Ex was grimdark and dystopian from the beginning, and the endings made sense, and they weren't concluding a trilogy. S
I feel like a parent. I'm not angry Bioware, I'm just disappointed.

36 hours until unlock via VPN. Not that I'm counting, or anything.
[sp] if it was a bedtime story, Why did the old guy describe a gay sex scene to his child?[/sp]
I so want to buy this the day it comes out. But I so DON'T want to be forced to install EA's Origin shit on my machine just to play it.
36 hours until unlock via VPN. Not that I'm counting, or anything.
Think of the traffic on the most popular free VPNs that day. That 36 hours may stretch a bit further.
try and make me think i need to justify having an opinion!! owned...
I puked a bit in my mouth.

S
i can't be the only one who thought the endings in both deus ex and human revolution were awful
Now that I think about it... Bioware pretty much used the exact same endings as Deus Ex, didn't they? [sp]-Destroy all tech, send humanity into the dark ages -Don't change shit -Merge with an all powerful tech-god[/sp] [editline]4th March 2012[/editline]
i can't be the only one who thought the endings in both deus ex and human revolution were awful
Human Revolutions were shit, I thought the first one's were fantastic, grim, and dystopian, and no happiness, just like the game.
Think of the traffic on the most popular free VPNs that day. That 36 hours may stretch a bit further.
Not really, because in america it'll be too early in the morning for them to all sign on to it, and in Europe it's work time, perfect time to unlock and play.
I so want to buy this the day it comes out. But I so DON'T want to be forced to install EA's Origin shit on my machine just to play it.
Go cry a river. It is just like installing a game that requires Steam to play it.

You know what? I still have a little hope. I just keep thinking of my moments from ME1 I loved... (Sovereign, Wrex backing down on Virmire, Wrex telling you about his weeklong battle with Aria, the big damn heroes moment at the end...) or ME2, (Meeting Wrex on Tuchanka, Re-uniting with Garrus, surviving the Suicide Mission...) and I just keep praying that there'll be more awesome moments like that can take my mind off of the ending. And that there'll be top notch shooting, funny moments, badass moments.. Maybe I'm in denial... but I'm still excited. Not cancelling any pre-orders. And, rainbows, but... maybe the NG+ ending will turn out to be an ending that'll bring a smile to my face or make me happy. [editline]4th March 2012[/editline] I think I'm doing what I bitch so much about. Excuse my hypocrisy, but I'm jumping to conclusions before I've finished the game. I really don't know. I'll probably end up loving it... I still think I might be in denial right now though :v:
man you're all over the place
I.. I'm so conflicted right now. I think it's some level of denial that I refuse to believe that a series I've invested so much time into... would end like that. I just want to enjoy the third one so bad. [editline]4th March 2012[/editline] For people like me... who are shook up over the ending? Watch this again, and try and get excited again. I'm gonna try and forget all this ending bullshit and focus on the game.
wait that asari was aria holy shit

In the last unique conversation thread with Wrex, he mentions an old asari friend of his named "Aleena", who for complicated reasons he wound up fighting against. Against all odds she manages to escape and tells Wrex "Better luck next time". Now, when you ask Aria about her past, she casually mentions that Patriarch is not the first time she has tangled with a krogan nor was "Aria" the first name she had; she has changed names in the past. When Shepard drops the subject, she simply says "Better luck next time". Also, Aria mentions being an asari commando and a mercenary, same as Aleena. Shepard seems to imply that this is rather rare. Plus, she pretty much has the exact same personality as Wrex. Flippant, violent, aggressive... with a heart of gold and an understanding of the bigger picture.
I don't think that's correct. I'm pretty sure her name was Aleena or something like that. [editline]woops[/editline] Woops, didn't read your post.
-I posted a /v/ reply on this forum- So, here's an image instead.
Yeah, you tell him, Shepard. Fuck Illusive Man.
I don't think that's correct. I'm pretty sure her name was Aleena or something like that.
Read above. It's implied it was Aria.
I guess it was Aria then.

Nothing's confirmed, but it's fairly implied that it's Aria.
That will not fucking stand. No. FUCKING. WAY I CAN ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN.
In the grim darkness of the 41st millennium there is only [sp] AGE OF STRIFE [/sp] .
