Which ending? As there is those 3 and a few variations.
Worst possible as in[sp]Destroy reapers/relays/reaper tech, earth devastated, and Shepard dead. At least I assume[/sp]
Well, gentlemen, tonight is the night. Tonight, I begin my playthroughs of Mass Effect 1, and 2, in order to prepare for Mass Effect 3. I'm going for all the side quests, and all the DLC. This should be fun.
Care to give us a stream?
So, basically, people playing ME3 without an import are getting the absolute worst possible options. GOOD. That's the way it should be.
Jack and Thane died in my ME2 playthrough anyway, what a coincidence.
Gotta say, as much as I prefer Sheploo, this is my favourite custom Shep out of any I've seen.
Thanks, here's the code if anyone was interested in it:
152.JLG.JGM.711.J5P.57Q.HQQ.55D.147.9A9.E73.6
Dammit, was hoping for an auto-merge.
...Heavy Risk... But the Priiiiizzzeee
No risk :v:
Is it just me or does Mass Effect just not feel the same after 1? This isn't nostalgia but in the sequels they change it from being a soldier to being jesus.

Notice no one gives a fuck about you but your squad. [editline]4th March 2012[/editline]
No risk :v:
its Jacob goddDAMN :v:

That's whyy I used a save editor, because the default start is shit considering I did so much.
Listening to the soundtrack, that part of the product really didn't disappoint. I especially love how they used some tunes from the first game in the new songs.
Bioware devs said that in reality the soundtrack in-game is about 4 hours long.
Is it just me or does Mass Effect just not feel the same after 1? This isn't nostalgia but in the sequels they change it from being a soldier to being jesus.
Different lead writers with different perspectives on how the story should go = different feel
My favourite track is "An end once and for all" at 56 mins on that youtube vid.
Why does the game treat destroying that council ship as the worst thing ever? I mean, did nobody tell the rioters and whatnot that millions more could be dead if Sovereign hadn't been destroyed as soon as possible? I haven't actually played so that the council gets saved, but the impression I got from the choices was that helping the council would delay the destruction of Sovereign. Is it not like this?
My Mass Effect 2 shepard: Mass effect 3: I like him in mass effect 2 better, especially in-game.

Maybe a few more alliance ships are destroyed but I'm not sure, I always saved the Council.

I saw that as the Renegade choice (even though I guess it was the Paragon one). Besides, my squad members also encouraged me to sacrifice the council.

Okay that coke ad thing is not actually ingame. Turns out it was just part of a stream that someone else took a screenshot of. My bad.
I'm pretty sure Sovereign exploding did more damage to the Citadel than he did himself(not counting ships).
Makes sense. Do you think it will be a major problem for me in ME3 that I let that ship get destroyed? I also didn't destroy that collector ship (because in my opinion that tech should be saved - pity they didn't give a choice to give that ship to the council or the alliance instead). My character is pretty much purely Paragon, but my bigger choices seem to be more Renegade... interesting. :v:
I saw the Destiny Ascension at the head of that huge fleet in the trailer, but I doubt it will matter. Telling the fleet to focus on Sovereign was the neutral choice, you get equal amounts of paragon and renegade points for choosing it. I chose it because it was the smartest choice.

They still treat it like a very Renegade choice, however... or maybe it's just the protesters.
The protesters don't like how humans seized power after the Council died, and they definitely don't like having an all-human council. I can't blame them.
Anyone else getting an error when trying to download the Artbook and Soundtrack from Origin?
Ah. They still treat it like a very Renegade choice, however... or maybe it's just the protesters.
It's treated as renegade in ME2 because the Destiny Ascension was still destroyed. Basically there were two paths for that choice, destroyed or not destroyed. It doesn't take into account your reasoning behind the choice.
Ah. They still treat it like a very Renegade choice, however... or maybe it's just the protesters.
I think bioware got a bit lazy there and basically made the outcome mostly the same as purposely abandoning the council
[sp]‎"Grandpa, will you tell me the story about how Shepard tried to stop me from controlling reapers that I made to wipe out organic life so that they wouldn't make inorganic life that would destroy organic life?"- Child "Maybe some other time, how about I tell you the story about when Commander Shepard had homosexual sex with his shuttle pilot?." - Grandfather[/sp] Mass Effect 3 ending in a nutshell.
Where is the release date checker [editline]4th March 2012[/editline]
[sp]‎"Grandpa, will you tell me the story about how Shepard tried to stop me from controlling reapers that I made to wipe out organic life so that they wouldn't make inorganic life that would destroy organic life?"- Child "Maybe some other time, how about I tell you the story about when Commander Shepard had homosexual sex with his shuttle pilot?." - Grandfather[/sp] Mass Effect 3 ending in a nutshell.
Grandpa is voiced by Buzz Aldrin
Just tweeted 1 of the Bioware guys something, enjoy:
34m Dave B ‏ @SneakiestBear @GambleMike Out of curiosity what does Bioware think of people using a VPN to unlock ME3 early? Do you care? Will it result in a ban? Dave B ‏ @SneakiestBear @GambleMike So people from Europe who bought the game on Origin can play Tuesday like Americans, without having to wait till Friday. Michael Gamble ‏ @GambleMike @SneakiestBear we won't ban you. In reply to Dave B
