Emotional. Keep in mind I KNOW the leaks, I KNOW whats going to happen, but I still feel like crying. Maybe I'm just a fucking sap for Mass-Effect
I hope my reaction will be the same. Still 4 days until I can play it.
I'm also a sap for Mass Effect. I even designed myself to somehow fit inside the universe in one of the corniest ways possible. Cryo :v:
Flows like a conversation you have very little input over. Taking away player input over shepard's speech is a good way to destroy the experience, at least for me.
It's exactly like DA2. You make a flag choice, or you make an active choice, and the game takes over from there for a discrete section. I told you guys you'd be annoyed.
If it makes you guys feel any better. Convos seem to be working like this. IN A MISSION Paragon Renegade Sometimes an "Investigate" Option (A single question) OUT OF MISSION Paragon Renegade Investigate (Yes, Its back) [editline]5th March 2012[/editline] Emotional. Keep in mind I KNOW the leaks, I KNOW whats going to happen, but I still feel like crying. Maybe I'm just a fucking sap for Mass-Effect
I feel like crying because of what BioWare has turned into
I can relate to that, man. I'm also quite upset that my favourite gaming francise was butchered
We all know that feel bro
poty
Actually come to think of it, that corny story was humorous in some ways. I had set it up so the initial interrogation by the crew that lugged around goods ended with me jumping out of my chair and just screaming my social security number.
So, does anybody know how to change the language? It is disabled in settings, and i cant stand Russian subtitles with English vocalization. Russian translators are fucking horrible, i want to get rid of it so i can enjoy proper dialogues.
I feel like crying because of what BioWare has turned into
The heavy called and he thinks you're a big baby
We all know that feel bro
get that shit out of here what the fuck is wrong with you
I'm so sorry
ME3 soundtrack is all loaded onto my Itunes library!
Finally got to play it after I got back to class. Disappointed to still see low res textures. (Get cracking JeanLuc :v:) Also, Anderson still does his teleporting act.
The heavy called and he thinks you're a big baby
Haha, you made me laugh out loud for real :v:
Ugh, I may get the game in the mail by Friday, but who the hell knows.
#Solcomms
I'm enjoying the fuck out of this game still.
wait how are some of you playing? doesn't it come out tomorrow?
It surprises me to hell that there aren't any reveiws of this game anywhere yet and it comes out tomorrow (yet... some people here apparently are playing??). I was pretty much going to hold off on it till it was on sale but I might reconsider if its really good. I enjoyed ME2, but part of the reason I am interested in ME3 is how they handle the story, contiuation, etc. Since from the demo it seemed like they didn't really improve anything, and not to mention it actually felt worse than ME2 in a lot of ways. Not to mention Bioware in my eyes has developed a bad reputation in the past couple of years, especially with their drivel like DA2 they've released. I'm wondering if its because EA literally sent no review copies out, or everyone is on embargo from releasing the reveiw until after relase if they scored ME3 below X (which publishers sometimes do).
Aw, they disabled the Demo multiplayer :(
well now I just wait until monday when my copy ships
So, first talk with Vega. [sp] Goes into the Spar with 4 INTERRUPT ATTEMPTS, 2 Paragon 2 Renegade, with the Dialogue wheel (still only 2, but bare with me) and character development. Than I talk to him a second time and its another full dialogue wheel but now I can either say good-bye or INVESTIGATE and I have FIVE different options to choose, like his Family or State of Mind or what he thinks of Cortez[/sp] So no, Kasumi/Zaeed styled stuff is completely false at least with Vega.
To be honest, I was (and still am) a little pissed about the endings because they're all pretty unhappy. That said, the "good" ending ends on an ambiguous enough note that I can fill in the happy ending myself. I can make that work.

All the Endings are Ambiguous.
That's what pisses me off TBQH (Remember how I said I hated The Giver yesterday?) I hate when they pull out the whole "decide for yourself what happened" ending. To me it's a sign of a bunch of weak-kneed writers who tried to please everybody by not making a hard decision. The conclusion to a series should not be ambiguous, that's best left for previous entries in that series. If I have to fill in what happened in my imagination, somebody isn't doing their damn job to end the series they created. As I said before, unless you're building to another entry to the series (Doesn't need to be an immidate follow up) you shouldn't be playing around with cliffhangers and ambiguity. I'm paying for a conclusion to the series, not to "make" the ending myself so I can sleep easier.
People bitching about me3 still. Anyway I just beat ME2, I am now ready for ME3, this is going to be awesome.
Odd that people are complaining about ambiguous endings, both Deus Ex games had quite ambiguous endings, the original especially, and that's considered one of the best-written games ever made.
I wish I could have your optimism, HoliestCow
I'm glad I don't have the pessimism many here seem to possess.
I'm glad I don't have the pessimism many here seem to possess.
I know right? Everyone is getting butt hurt over an ending to a great trilogy, im going to have a BLAST playing this game SP and MP and when I eventually beat MP ill be happy with what ever ending. I mean IMHO people are over-reacting, they could of easily just said THEN EVERYONE DIED THE END. They didnt though, so quit complaining, no one is forcing you to buy the game. [sp]spend a lot of time getting the best endings and making sure certain characters didnt die or were happy. Ending 1: everybody dies, ending 2: everybody dies, ending 3: maybe everybody doesn't die[/sp] yeah, fuck you ME3.
