So I've heard the default ME3 choices have all Me2 characters dead except Garrus and Tali. And yet new players can get the best ending without playing previous games? Well, I guess that explains everything.
It's because every ME2 character you recruited doesn't matter in the scheme of things, I mean fuck there was plenty of argument that Bioware created the entire Drell species just to give Femshep's a romance option.
I prefer Jennifer Hale's voice really
This got way more disagrees than I was expecting. What's so great about Mark Meer?

Hale's vocal range in Mass Effect goes from bored to indifferent.
When she talks it's like she's bored or something. It just sounds dull to me in comparison.

Meer has consistently improved since Mass Effect 1, while Hale seems to get even more bored as time goes on. People generally argue that Meer is a better renegade while Hale is a better paragon, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say Meer is better then both of them, and if ME2 and it's DLCs are any indication, Meer is easily going to be better then Hale in ME3.

Also holy shit, just noticed how amazing Bring Down the Sky's music was:
Yes, in a nutshell that's the whole deal. Most characters will be reduced to cameos. If it's accurate why did we had to hire the most skilled team in the galaxy if they take it from us again?
Because Cerberus is hated by everyone (the Citadel, mercs organizations, majority of the Terminus Systems) and the Alliance declared Shepard KIA (which means no official support from them, unlike the first game) it would be impossible to use the most skilled people in the galaxy officially. You would go somewhere to ask official support and basically the answer would be either 'LOLNOPE YOUR W/ CERBERUS' or LOLNOPE YOUR DEAD'.

But it didn't matter because: LOLALLIANCE never cared about your actions after Cerberus rebuilt you. You had to commit genocide to get their attention and they let you run again out of sheer desperation once the reapers strike Earth.
I'll quote Deus Ex HR right here: "[del]FEMA[/del] Cerberus? You've got worse enemies than [del]FEMA[/del] Cerberus." Remember that dead cerberus thug from the leaked demo? I think he said something similar.
Sure they'll pose a greater threat than ever in the last game, but that surfaces after you're already back on the Normandy. The Alliance would do nothing about your Cerberus crew, too bad they replaced them already. Frankly I don't know what they would do, other than space battles they we're never good for anything in the series.

So now you're just saying because ME2 was with cerberus, the team wasn't the most skilled?

Cause they did?
I just mean the Illusive man populated the Normandy with friendly faces so you never saw Cerberus for what it was. In fact he made a terrible mistake doing so, because these people are completely loyal to Shepard even if you always stand against TIM's will and destroy the Collector base. So there is no reason not to keep them. Actually [sp]Cerberus will have your ME2 (non-squad) crew executed if you don't make the right choices during some missions.[/sp]

Very true, the last part sets the exploration part of the next game.

Could be but we don't know that now, do we?
All I'm saying is that the Alliance would never use Jack, a convicted criminal or Samara, an asari justicar, that can kill a lot of people, depending on the situation or a geth, would they? They would go through official channels and get proper people to do the job. And as always, bureaucracy is the norm, hell took 1/3rd of the game to them to send someone to try to find out what's happening to the colonies. And failed. So Shepard is a canon sue or whatever, but it only because of him/her that things get done. Ever.

I'm not following the logic here. The alliance was cool with Shepard recruiting Wrex, a krogan mercenary, and Liara, whose mother was a proven ally of Saren. If anything, you're saying the team should be WORSE without cerberus because shepard cant recruit great allies like Legion? I guess that's why we get the ~*awesome*~ James Vega in ME3 instead.
Full-length Jane Shepard trailer inbound tomorrow; today was just a sneak peak.

damnation.
I just started a new save about a week ago to do everything and make everyone loyal and keep them all alive, then I blew up the collector base
Zaeed and Mordin are my team

Now we will see if Hale has gone to complete shit or managed to find their quality again.
Has the Cerberus Network shut down recently? I tried to download some DLC from the Game Menu, but when I hit the button nothing happened. It said I had logged in and everything.
Hey guys, guys. I just won an SR2 hat!
So what's this whole thing with Kai Leng and cereal?
Hey guys, guys. I just won an SR2 hat!
Congratulations! But now you also get a free conditioning of boneitis!
Now you can just be like Joker!
[sp]Note: does not come with sexbot[/sp]
So what's this whole thing with Kai Leng and cereal?
Best part of an awful book.
So what's this whole thing with Kai Leng and cereal?
Kai Leng can join your squad if you have acquired enough cereal.
Kai Leng can join your squad if you have acquired enough cereal.
Renegade Interrupt: Soy
Paragon Interrupt: 2%
So what's this whole thing with Kai Leng and cereal?
He eats his cereal...
With no milk!
He's an adrenaline junkie like that.
Kai Leng can join your squad if you have acquired enough cereal.
What if you're a cereal killer
What if you're a cereal killer
Another missed opportunity:
'Cereal Killer: Defeat the Cerberus assassin'
All these spoilers that Bioware are purposely reveal annoy me. I don't mind that i got some stuff spoiled, but when it's the makers of the game doing it, it's not right
To be honest, until the leaked script showed up Bioware was doing an exceptional job of revealing very little about the game, just as the fans asked for after the spoilerific ME2 marketing.
Hell, even the latest trailers don't spoil all that much.
Uhh, the last two spoil plenty, unless you're referring to squadmate specifics.
Uhh, the last two spoil plenty, unless you're referring to squadmate specifics.
Unless I'm missing something fairly drastic, nothing about those videos is really all that unexpected. Gigantic space battles against the Reapers, a demonstration of how a choice can play out, and a few basic locales does not seem to reveal all that much.
Maybe I'm just desensitized to it.

No, you're right. As someone who hasn't read the leak, I didn't really see anything that I hadn't already seen or heard about before from official channels or anything that I could piece together as a major plot point spoiler.
